You shouldn’t need that to run the game smoothly. I run Lost Ark fine on my PC but ToS is a nightmare. The game always runs like crap and will stay that way as long as it runs on its current engine.
I really wonder if Pheasant is going to be a skill nxt to SS hence requiring an attribute to put it on / off or if it will be Pheasant only? And will it stay the way as it is with 25% of the original dmg, which on the case of pheasant would still be quite something.
I understand that, but each OH has his own cast time and mana cost, it’s not like you spending mana once for 3 OH. Even doe EW hits 5 time with 3 OH it roughly 500% buff, not 5k%, right?
If it wasn’t already obvious enough, there it is. Their mindset and the reason the game will never get off the ground.
They have to tweak Joint Penalty a lot more… It rly needed a nerf but I don’t even understand how they don’t see that they went from Op to “not worth it at all”…
With arts Linker is most likely quite good as single target… but that’s not what Linker was about… Also arts that completly change a skill shouldn’t be considered a must have to use a skill…
Lol @ qs and Linker.
The Linker change is good and bad.
That damage is split? Yes.
That the hit count is 3? Are you joking?
Linker was originally a party monster that helped the team by making aoe plausible, then it became more and more of a solo class affair.
All you gotta do is have JP transfer the damage of an attack to all enemies applied once per attack instead of being calculated off of every single enemy in the case of an attack, and then give it a nice hit count like 30.
Supp classes need to be way more powerful when everyone is hitting this hard, and not only that they themselves need synergy with each other so that support classes don’t simply exist as final class boosts in a DPS build.
Nice, let’s turn linker to be a base class?
Not sure if someone answered yet bur accrding to Ludo gaming in YT, it will retain the attribs of the skills
Joint Penalty yes, but Falconer is also going from a primarily support class to primarily DPS. Aiming didn’t get gutted as badly as people feared, but Circling is now just a self buff instead of party support.
Additionally, the defensive classes (Quarrel Shooter, Paladin, Peltasta) also only got damage increases. Arguably Peltasta didn’t need any buffs anyway, but that’s because it’s one of the few classes in the game that has worthwhile defensive utility. Why buff QS and Paladin damage instead of their defensive utility? Nobody is picking QS or Paladin for damage and there’s no reason to just turn more defensive/support classes into DPS classes when the vast majority of classes in the game are DPS already, especially in the archer tree.
Edit: Almost forgot Cryomancer, but they started trashing Cryomancer CC/defense even before Re:Build.
Oh… ew. Rip…
Yeah I agree, really awkward and… kind of lazy animation tbh
They literally said they would buff it at a later date since it’s a little more complicated to buff certain classes
Why do you say circling is a self buff? I didn’t see any indication that it works only on archers?
Reduces AoE Defense Ratio to 1 → Increases your AoE Attack Ratio by [ Skill Level ]
It doesn’t say your party, just you.
Remember long time ago, I posted someone Misrus Run just 1 minute??
and i ever say next maybe misrus just take under 1 minnute??
that Real,
Present Misrus Run under 1 minute: 40 seconds OMEGALUL, like i say.
just waiting for Misrus Run just 10-20s.
so… linker JP arts can link to a boss with 100% damage increase for 20s and 20s downtime afterwards. so let’s say it’s like 50% permanent increase in damage AFTER you make investments for getting the arts, and 25% phys def reduction via eleshock.
now, a normal corsair have 40% damage increase via brutality permanently, and 20% more with jolly for the whole team for 10s with 20s downtime. so all in all, linkers + arts is probably still better for bossing solo or with full phys team compared to corsair. also, with added bonus 1.5% lifesteal, assuming your crit damage reach 40k on a boss, that’s 600hp per crit hit. typical scouts have only around 55k ish HP. so if you use BMs and SRs on bosses with JP arts, you can recover from 1 to full via that lifesteal easily. Not to forget though, linkers have no mobbing capabilities after this patch drops. non arts JP is trash, although it may have some limited utility like on wastrel stage 2 or velco stage 3, while corsair have all its active skills for mobbing capabilities.
so, after all of that, the real question is: is it worth it to take linker and JP arts for marginally better bossing damage than corsair and essentially 20s of invincibility via lifesteal? or taking corsair and spending the money you’d spend for JP arts on a better equipment?
It’s normal mode Misrus. Much easier than hard mode and not a good comparison to the other videos.
They’d better not buff these classes. It’s already bad enough to have them botting all over the game.
Imo they should make both of them into support classes, with necro focusing on defense (skeletons drawing aggro & tanking hits, shoggoth applying debuffs) and sorcerer focusing on support ( cat turned into a recovery skill, summoned demons applying buffs to the team) while bokor is used to blow all your summons up with Damballa for offensive summoning.
That would be a well-done summoner patch. It would also make any summon class viable outside of being just a SPR-based class in a tree of INT classes…
Btw, final patch notes are up
still waiting for link…
The botting is going to happen either way, it’s a stupid reason not to buff a class. Just make them require more button presses and skill coordination for their summons to be effective so that botting with them is no easier than with any other class.
