Tiger hunter looks more focused in PvP than PvE, they add block pen in the skills and surprise atk is now single target, but the damage skills do more damage now so can be good in PvE aswell and still need musketeer to be a real class -_-

So they are finally giving a nerf to Tao-Chrono. Itâs a shame the nerf is for Chrono instead of Tao, but itâs a step in the right direction I guess.
The damage buffs are nice, but I think the Aiming Shot one was too much. Itâs going to hit for 3507% with the normal enhance attribute maxedâŚ
Iâm also happy about the Quickdraw damage buff, but for a QUICKdraw, that skill isnât quick at all.
Archers being able to sprint in combat is also cool, but mounted Scouts still canât sprint at all
And GG THEY ACTUALLY BUFFED BRICK SMASH. Increased range and animation speed is super nice, but the damage still sucks, so I doubt anyone many people will use it

since iâm also a corsair fan i would like do give my 2cents and overall review of the buffs too and i would like to use your questions as starting point ,so pardon me:
iâm very happy with knowledge that the class is being buffed, i still keep my corsair for 2-3 years already, because he had the concept of âdual wieldâ and is something i love in mmoâs, but with recente changes made me put more or less a meme build on him>enchant corsair thauma/assasin< (change depending on my mood with all those resets we receive every so often).
i use that meme build because of the dual wield DWA.!
so going on the changes:
About HD and DD this is really hard to tell; maybe they really âonlyâ have now 100% of off hand but since google trans is confusing we can speculate that they only showed the 100% of offhand because the main hand stayed the same, but i wonât put my coins on this, i think they really changed to âonlyâ 100% offhand.
DWA do not think it changed the way itâs attacks, it only stated that it got a lvl 1 max and because of that the damage scaling was also changed to reflect it, at 105% from level 1.
So it should still needs the button smashing what is BAD, since WE know is possible to make stance changing skills, it should not be hard for example to give us the form similar as stances double punch and allows us to simple press one button.
brutality is 30 sp per 5 sec for a 8+4% per level=48% at max level (max lvl 10), so a 360 sp at minute or 90 SP per mana potion from alchemist at each CD, this is little more of 4% of the total SP given by the pot, it is not enough to create too much problems.
Using skill on the other hand would still be a pain in the ass. (I think imc is milking the pot use just to launch a new premium item that uses AUTO POT, after all is becoming common having a pet fairy friendly following you around and using pots for you in the mmo genre).
Joly that received the biggest and super OP buff, i do not think the imc will keep it at this level:
once you have a thauma in your arsenal or someone to buff you, the damage given at max level will be 60% at 1 minute CD with 35 secondâs duration of the buff, but this is not where the problem lies, the problem comes when you mix it up with linker and enchant together with THAUMA, enchanter is pretty comum choice for some other scout friends and with him alone buffing you, it would result in a 60 seconds fever time with 1 minute cd from the flag, so we would have the downtime âonlyâ for the time of reaching fever time, and in todayâs game reaching is not a problem, so we would have:
60% increase damage + 10 movement speed + 10% critical damage and 10% minimum critical rate at more or less 100% uptime.
and there is more: with linker you can increase the bonus of critical rate and damage and duration as well (but with google translation it seems to indicate that âonlyâ the corsair can gain this bonus) where the other two seems to be party wide.
Now once we add brutality in the mix that is giving 8+40% at max level:
more than 100% damage increase, overall iâm not sure if the 60% + 48% from brutality would be plus with each other since i do not know in deep the current damage formula but even if itâs not 100% it should still be pretty close to 100% damage increase , where 60% is pure physical and magic damage (so itâs for everyone) and brutality is for scout + swordsmans with a extra 48%, making corsair the super party friend even if you are a magic based or a physical based class.
About the HOOK skill, it have literal ages since i have used it because as i said before iâm using my corsair more in a meme-pve build so there is no need for it, i do not even have points in the current corsair but by the description i think it should be one sec silence per pull, since it have been ages i have used it i do not remember if in today skill we applies the buff in every âpullâ on âonlyâ on the last âpullâ, so if we apply bleed on every pull and it refreshes itself with every new pull, the skill normally gives a little more than 3 pulls if the target is far from you, so is 3-4 sec of silence and is good enough for team fights.
overall; corsair is severe lacking points for his own skills, since flag and brutality is a must have, flag could be thrown away âOnlyâ if you are a solo corsair players and does not have linker-thauma-enchant in the build since would be hard to get buffs from those classes to synergy flag if you are playing solo.
so we have :
flag+brutality = 25 points; both impale and quick and dead 10= 35 points
leaving us with 10 points for DD,hexan who also received a super buff at close to 2000% at max level, and hook and keel
about quick and dead or impale dagger is a must have with todayâs buff and i say this because in todayâs tos is hard to see a players with only one character, so i do not believe that anyone does not have the other weapon laying around in your account but even if you are only a âone character guyâ as MAIN dagger or MAIN pistol:is not hard to get even a lvl 400 with trans from dropâs on the market and use both skills since they have a very good % with the buff with more than 2400% with each overheat and both of them have two, so 10k%
And 10 point for them is a tough choice, we can not even MAX hexen if we are at pve only corsair.

conclusion: well is a good day to be a corsair after those buffs, the weak of the class of lacking points in still there and this have not changed, what it makes hard for players who like the class for his own ability than his ability of helping others, so if someone for example throw away flagâs because he does not like the mechanic (like me) in favor of hexan+dust devil+ quick and dead and impale, he would receive a lot of complains from everyone and maybe even be kicked from parties given how strong flag is at this new buff.
So yeah i think i will still keep my meme corsair as meme because i do not like flag and flag will be a must have after todays buff if we want to be accepted in party play.
So theyâre going to nerf Sheriffâs redemptionâs evasion to no longer be a perfect evasion. I guess thatâs fair in the sense that ranged scouts have better survivability than melee scouts, but I really would rather have had melee survivability be brought up to par. Perfect evasion didnât even feel like such a terrible thing for the game when a bunch of classes have perfect accuracy attacks that negate it (looking at you, musketeers and shadowmancers). There is also a bunch of CC that doesnât care about perfect evasion and CCs you anyway until the evasion runs out⌠so I donât really see why this change is truly necessary. Thereâs a bunch of counters in the game as it is.
Killing perfect evasion to give us an excuse to build evasion seems so backwards. Evasion just isnât a good enough stat.
I have say this too many times before but⌠with the Rogue buff (evasion lol) I reach around 5k evasion and with that I still being hit a lot (I guess the cap is 50% max), so just 100% extra evasion is useless, they just kill redemption u_u

I have stated it many times, but PvP shouldnât be a thing where people have to play âXâ class to PvP or they get f*cked. If thatâs the case, then Gem feud will die just like TBL and the whole GvG scene.
Make it so everyone enjoy PvP on their favorite classes rather than forcing people to play âXâ to counter âYâ. This is not Dota2.
PVP in any game has some classes be better against some than others. Rock paper scissors and counters is a fundamental of balancing PVP in any game, it has nothing to do with Dota.
Meanwhile Iâm like trying to remind people that while Monk will be decent due to 1 Arts Attribute, nothing else about Monkâs skill-set is changed/buffed AKA Monk is still the same utter garbage it had always been until they get that 1 attribute, and yet the spike in players wanting to make Monk in current patch âŚ
