From what I gather, on top of gathering the items (Pages, Blessed Gems, etc etc) required to make them RNG Books and Encyclopedias and using them, one must also pay up silver to activate it.
Special Arts Attributes (Example: Musketeer Snipe and Falconer Hanging Shot Arts Attribute, the interesting ones translated by Crevox) need roughly 150,000 attribute points. Enhance Arts Attributes (All damage skills have additional enhance attributes up to 45% increase in damage) costs roughly 12,000 enhance attribute points per level, maxes out at 10 levels.
Assuming every build has 4 Special Arts Attribute (one per base and advancement class) and roughly 14 Enhance Arts Attributes to max (2 per base class and 4 per advancement class), that’s like a minimum of (150,000 x 4) + (120,000 x 14) = 2,280,000 attribute points or 2.28 billion silver minimum. Even worse if you have more skills to max (For example, Doppel)

I don’t know on the other servers but on mine crafting using the new alchemist ART for small elixirs will actually cost more (almost double) than just buying the elixirs straight out of market. Unless IMC is planning to stop selling them on every leticia cube, otherwise that ART is useless.

It’s more like getting more dmg from whom you cast the skill unto, but getting less damage from everyone else.
Simple obvious tactic, in a large scale pvp cast it on a support and take less damage from everyone else.
Hence the skill name “duel”. ezpz

I would have preferred an art for Ghastly Trail to be a buff, and so the spirits would follow you constantly (with buff included, obviously)
Pretty sure the Pole of Agony art is a dps down… The spirits spawned by this art deal the same damage as Pole, that is, low damage. Considering it shares spirit count with Invocation, this is really really bad. If you use the Skia staff that boosts invocation, it only takes 10sec to cap on spirits, and these spirits deal something like 3x the damage of the Pole spirits.
Just like @kobalis said, would have been far more interesting and fun if the art was for Ghastly Trail.
In the end, I’m very dissapointed by the Arts system, not only because of the insane costs and RNG hell, but also by how the system is not friendly to alt characters. Currently I have 5 characters with most Enhance attributes maxed (Thanks sprout event, pls come back <3), but right now I already made plans to remove the attributes from 3 of them, or I will never be able to afford to use the Arts ;-;
Also dissapointed about how the Arts for the 4 classes of my main character sucks… /cries in Wiz-WL-FF-Shadow. At least the Arts for Enchanter, Thaum and SR are good (which is my 2nd most played character).
