KToS General Thread v3.0 LOL

'The symbol of matador is a red cape and rapier. Red is the color of aggression. Once you swing your cape, you will receive a 12s buff. Included skills: critical booster, counter, quick movement-backwards step, quick stabbing skills.

Zealot class symbol is the same symbol as paladin and krivis. Zealot will receive a divine-tree symbol in red. Zealot is a self-buffing class. Buffs will inflict damage on yourself. The buff creates a static field around yourself to attack enemies. It is a close-range combat class.

Dragoon3 will receive a jump-dive attack. Templars have a skill to spread feathers/wings to form an area shield. Lancer receives a quick swift movement attack. Murmillo receives a rushing skill which clusters/groups enemies.

Kabbalist uses gebura(?) (note: could also be Gevura, there is no V or F sound in Korean) on nearby enemies to debuff/aggro monsters. The amount of affected enemies is equal to the calculated number. Plague doctor receives a damage-received-reduced skill (example 2800 damage received reduced to 2200 damage received). Taoists channel electricity through their body to boost it and are able to ground enemies. Inquisitors receive a damage over time skill and traps a single enemy in Iron Maiden.

Also some mention about making reservations to try new classes.

Original:

Probably known showcases are:
Dragoon3 dragon dive. Murmillo2 Take Down. Lancer2 Headstrike. Inquisitor2 heretic fork and iron maiden. Taoist2 hidden potential, entrenchment, hurling. Seems taoist was able to hit Heal on Flying yellow leafnut after using the gravity charm (entrenchment). Kabbalist3 Gebura (게부라 appears on enemies, which means Gebura/gevura).

wow the new circles for the cleric classes look so bad and boring… what is even new about Kabbalist??? What??? zealot looks like the only one put effort into, because it’s new and fresh

im on the boat with you. fawk that hakka pakka !!!

i like the inquisitor, taoist and zealot new circles but i agree the pd3 and kabba3 look a little underwhelmist especially kabbalist as all it got was ANOTHER number skill that probably wont do anything. i think they are getting a snake skill though so idk

Kabbalist is officially the new dead class, unless they put some good sh*t on the new skills 'cuz they look boring af. Zealot looks awesome, Inquisitor and Taoist looks ok. Plague Doctor… Meh, it seems that they already have used everything that was good.

It saddens me, because I really loved the idea of numerology in an rpg, and being able to do stuff based on the numbers you take from the names of your enemies, but yeah, I guess it ended up being poorly executed.

Are you people forgetting the buffs announced in the rebalancing?

Also Double Chance finally becomes worth at lv10

I’m more disappointed that Templar has a War Horn and it isn’t an Emergency Call equivalent skill.

Remember: Notarikon and gematria will be spammable

I can see that, and I’m grateful. These buffs finally get rid of the hassle you had to be through when casting them in the middle of a battle; but I’m referring at how the numerology skills don’t do anything to “wow” for.
Reduce level doesn’t seem to do anything significant.
Double chance may be great, but when bossing (which is the thing I mostly do) it’s impossible to use it efficiently since everyone’s attacking it at the same time and basically anything instantly triggers it
Clone is great for farming when you’re on your own… and that’s pretty much it
I just hope that this new skill makes Kab3 able to stand a little on it’s own…

oh my god i cant stop correcting myself lol

Double Chance only worth if you’re alone against a boss. In a party scenario, it’s pretty hard to use and it still have the “high” CD (like every other number-based skill). Gematria/Notarikon will be spammable, ok. Reduce Level/Clone/Double Chance will not.

OK, It’s too soon to assume that Kabbalist is dead. But for now it sure looks like dead to me.

As far as I read the text, the text just describes what we can see in the video and is neither describing the effects of the actual skill nor the actual name, so I think it’s just another guessing post similar to this one but in Korean.

The only thing it says about the new Kabbalist skill is that it gathers enemies around the Kabbalist that show Gebura about their heads. That’s not pretty much if you ask me…

It’s too early to leave the boat, since the update is scheduled for the 26th of October for KTOS, it will most likely be applied on the 12th of October on Ktest, so just another week of waiting time till we know for sure.

That video barely showed anything and some of you are already assuming that’s it? We even know Kabbalist should get a skill called nachash… Yeah it could be that skill won’t exist… but… Just don’t assume anything yet. It’s like assuming zealot will have only that 1-2 skills we saw in the video… when it will come with 2 circles already…

Also we may get a bunch of badass new attributes that can change the game too.

Theorycrafting is okay but don’t whine in advance when we barely know anything.

Also that we still didn’t see a golem for kabbalist is much more worrisome than any of your problems

In the video it’s Inquis 1 Zealot 1. All skills shown should be only circle 1 zealot skills.

Can be Inquisitor 1 > Zealot 2
GMs builds doesn’t have rank restriction D:

Last maintenance day I saw a GM in Orsha with a build with 10 ranks already D:

Not sure but I think it’s Grape that has the C1>Priest3>Krivis3>Pardoner3 build

I doubt 2 circles would have 3 skills total considering how all rank8 classes have 4+ skills on 1 circle. I bet it’s only Zealot 1. Also, for the sake of realistic propaganda they don’t use GM characters on videos, it’s always normal characters as far as i’m concerned.

Must be fun being a GM… Just imagine all the builds you can do without class restrictions AHAHAHAHA!!!
:haha:

Plot twist: Those top and pants have hidden godly bonus like RO’s Ahura Mazdah and Angra Manyu.

actually, limitless is boring. Once you experienced all of the combination, your interest will decline very fast.
