kTOS General Thread v2.0

oh hey, actually using blessing on the field will be worth it again that is nice.

I wish for really difficult raids that allow for at least 15-20 people to be grouped up inside to come with rank 9. Not just new classes. Until then, enjoying retirement.

They really need to limit low level players from using blessing. At least 1-2class before you can use blessing. this just makes lower level field boring and not challenging.

is new expansion a cleric expansion?

Or just scale it by your own character level.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking… or something like Rank1 can’t get Blessing Rank2 can get Lv5 Blessing, Rank3 = Lv10, Rank4 = Lv15 and so on…

easy fix, just put a minimum level requirement to use buff shops

Not happening until fps be improved further. current world bossing already causes crashing with many players and i wonder how guild colony wars is going to function with these problems.

This Sanctuary skill is a single target buff or a AoE buff like barrier?

They should make a % proportion conversion when your char lvl is lower than the shop char like…

Blessing = (Blessing * 0.7) * (0.1 + 0.9 *(player lvl / seller lvl))

This turns a lvl 16 2.5k blessing into 175 (1 buyer to 330 seller) bonus, getting the flat value up to 0.2 should be enough to make it balanced.

It’s a channeling AoE as you can see from the Dev Blog post.

Kinda annoying how the only paradoner synergy they are concerned about is priest. Unless there is more to come.

That’s wrong. The duration of Blessing is 300 seconds.
The increase is 780% at level 6 Spell shop with full attribute, so 880% of 300 seconds(base skill duration of Blessing).
That’s 44 minutes duration for Blessing at level 6 shop, level 5 =40 minutes.
Aspersion duration is also 40 minutes at level 5.
Sacrament level 10= 53 minutes at spellshop level 5.
Increased Magic Defence = 53 minutes at spellshop level 5.

You seem to have made a mistake in your calculation.
The spellshop skill description specifically states “additional duration” of 80% per skillevel, with a base value of 100%. So, at level 5, the skill duration is increased by 100+5x80%=500%. Now if we add the attribute maxed (5x40%), we get 200+500%=700%, so the total skill duration will be 800%(base duration of the buff +700% additional duration by Spell Shop).

you may want to take back your words if you see this in kTEST now

That’s obviously bugged. It’s using the pre-patch value of Blessings duration, i.e. 1 minute instead of 5 minutes. Judging from the duration of Sacrament[should be 61 minutes, not 73 at level 11], the Pardoner Shop itself seems to be pretty bugged, let’s see how they will fix this issue.

Edit: If it weren’t a bug, it would be a huge issue for non-autoattack Classes, especially Clerics that are after the doubled damage effect of Heal. My Blessing usually lasts for 30-50 minutes, so it is a huge issue if the time was cut down by 20-40 minutes.

Schwarzer Reiter can’t be taken as example for general gameplay, as it’s a damn autoattack Class that basically does nothing except pressing the C button and buff inbetween.

I’m not sure if it is a bug or not but I hope that it is. 8 min of blessing, even when it has no hit count, is too short

If they’re planning on lessening the time of Blessing in exchange for unlimited hits at least make it 50% less than the original… not this 8min crap… :heeey:

I would say it’s bugged, according to the post in dev blog it should last about 1 hour.

@Edit: Btw, IMC should reward all Pardoners with Rank Reset Voucher, now PardonerC3 will be a must for max Increase Magic DEF. Gladly my Pardoner doesn’t have a classe for r8 yet, I was going to be Chaplain, well, not anymore.

I’m merely sharing what I found on kTest yesterday and the day before. Whether it’s bugged or not doesn’t concern me. (Though I do hope it is a bug)

8 mins of unlimited hits makes it last longer for most classes than iTOS’s current implementation since you would blow through the hit count in 1-2 mins.

The location of these items (Khonot Forest/Ghilbunas Forest/Lhadar Forest) except Namu’s Temple,
pretty much suggest that it could be a Rank8 hidden class, which these maps level range around as Rank8 advancement.
