If its goin to be as small as GM’s wing then I guess I wouldn’t mind them but if they start getting bigger and being an eyesore then we’re gonna have some problems.

why 30% chance from gazing golem is considered high meanwhile 30% chance from werewolf is considered bad?
which one is heavier, 1kilogram of feather or 1kilogram of stone?

Dunno. in video he has lvl 10, lvl 7 and lvl 1 card so it’s not even 30%, it’s 18%, but GG card has chance when u getting hit, not when u attacking.

They should change how werewolf card work make it something like
x% chance to apply ‘back attack’ debuff for x second

  • attacking target with this debuff will count as back attack.

it would be better than current one.

One is a buff and the other is not. With gazing golem once it’s activated it stays activated for 15 seconds. While with werewolf cards, you only get the one in every three hits to register as a back stab once. If gazing golem were to, let’s say, prevent knockdown/knockback once instead of activating a 15 second buff, they would be more comparable. But as it stands, gazing golems cards are OP essentially letting any class achieve perpetual pain barrier.

Rogues could also stop being lazy and move behind enemies like Rogues in RO have to.
They even have a skill to turn the enemy around in TOS, making his back face you…

Just don’t play Rogue if you don’t like to attack from the back, easy solution :slight_smile:

About GG card, it would be nice to know if it also triggers inside Safety Zone/Golden Bell Shield or when blocking an attack.

For a boss fight it is easy to move behind but for normal monster it is pain in an ass to stay behind and land attack every single time there is animation delay skill casting time monster will turn face to you before you can attack it, also there is some moment you can’t go behind target at all, tbh most monster will be dead before you can go behind it anyway so what is the point to player a rogue if you can’t go behind target.

Well yeah I kinda get they’d need the money but why not like weapon skins? I’d gladly pay for that. Anything to change the look of my toothpick rapiers to a pirate saber. Lol

Sorry but wings for me ruins the game. Unless it will really make us fly.

EDIT: whay I am trying to say is that it breaks immersion for me.

I hope they start making the game more interesting by adding more ranged attacks to mobs so that they don’t just follow you like brainless zombies do.

Monsters also need to learn skills like Lancers Unhorsing (with a debuff that prohibits mounting your companion again for some seconds) to make the mounted characters suffer a little,too. And monsters have to hit way harder. They are pretty pathetic, even the level 310+ monsters only hit around 300-800 damage even if you only have level 220 leather armor…

Either more HP and less attack (i.e. the turtle variation) or less HP but more attack (i.e. the striker variation). Around 3000-4000 attack would be nice so that you actually have a need for that stupid level 315 armor sets that just became a lot stronger. And a lot of monsters need to deal strike type damage to counter plate armor wearing characters imo.

With the upcoming changes the game will just become more facerolling on the keyboard. I can’t even imagine how they want to kill my character if he has got around 3-4k defence. It’s just stupid. And basically the same as pre-balance patch.
You won’t get 1 dmg, but you recieve such astronomically low numbers of damage that you can easily outpot them even with 30 seconds potion CD.
This makes ± no difference for me.

Bad Classes still bad, Classes inbetween Ranks not balanced, damage/defence system bad again, nothing to do except farming for stuff to make the ingame content even less challenging and more ridiculous, useless gacha and cosmetic updates instead of concentrating on ingame stuff (there are so many NPC costumes and 3rd Circle Costumes they could make and release instead), events and gacha stuff totally unrelated to the ingame world&lore and so on.

Did they hire some Dragon Nest staff to counsel them on cash marketing? (i.e. how to bore and kill the playerbase off by boring and repeating stuff that’s pretty much generic to every modern MMORPG).

I think (star*2)% would be a fair buff. 30% is really killing rouges.

well the game is “good” as other dungeon crawlers, in my case i love diablo2 , diablo 3, titan quest and almost all decent isometric role playing games tos is included, the problem with tos is the moment that everything becames a chore, for example a good way to deal with this is doing what FFXIV do with “dailys”, instead of limiting for a day they do it for a week, for example you can exchange tomes for good gear in FFXIV wich is almost equal to end game gear, but the quantity of tomes you can get is capped in weeks, then instead of login daily for saalus people can start doing it just 1 day and the rest of the week enjoy the game, farm silver, farm stuff or whatever they like, the other problem is itemization sucks, monks with blunts? for the love of god, now they keep adding stuff like extra cards, the games becames almost impossible to balance, we love the freedom to pick class, the cards system was a nice addition, but you add 4 extra slots, and just limit to 3 of the 8 that we used to use, i understand that imc want to make money but not with useless rng cubes with exp cards… good way to deal with this is make tokens untradeables and not sellable in the AH… they’re dirt cheap… but more rng cubes aren’t the solutions, populations is around 3k now, ffs even ragnarok re start has 2 times that considering that is a game from 2002-2003…
