Yes, probably they will add
-items (agni necklace) to fix skill issues
-attributes (sapper, sadhu)
-attempt to add decent AI (hunter, falconer)
-buffs on items (headgear, gems)
Similar to granado right.

I am looking forward to getting some more "creative attributes for the less popular classes (wugu, etc.).

Or just add more dungeon clear tickets:

whats the point of blue gems if red gems work for matk?

There isn’t a point to them.

red gem work as magic amp

Actually, I would say AI improvement is a pretty important issue for classes with AI related things since dumb AI would mean that the skills can’t even be used in the first place.

Other than that… idk.

They are magic amp but that doesn’t mean blue gems are useful.
Lv5 Red: 90 average dmg
Lv5 Blue: 57 flat dmg

If you’re advising someone to use a blue gem for matk you’re giving out bad advice.

Matk will still be better in a party with Krivis in it and for players who have trouble getting high enough Matk to break the Mdef of new monsters.

Mmm I’m pretty sure the knowledge of red gem boosting magic is new. I think it’s because of the Vienarazis (?) Mace thread giving out information on min-max attack that we’re finally in the know. Some people who don’t frequent the forum wouldn’t know anything about it and would still hoard blue gems.

No it won’t, because red gems still increase your magic attack. They just increase only the maximum value.

You know what they should do at this point? Just make blue gems in primary weapons increase your block. There’s obviously no point to having both magic attack gems and max attack gems.

hmmm that would be awesome then. its like a better version of Mamp that increases your Matk.

Woah The way they fix the sorc problem… did they don’t know those sorc even use pot-call salamion? did they thought just add some attack every 1 min harder than that?

I don’t wanna say this. But this problem can be fix only by sent GM to that map not from programming.

If you’ve ever in your entire ToS playthrough acquired/equipped the “Crystal Bangle” item, you’ll know that [Maximum Attack] increase Physical, Secondary and Magic, since probably day one. Take note, it only raises the “maximum value”; Eg: XXX~YYY where only Y is affected by it.

This is also why all the maces I’ve properly used for my numerous Chaplain trials all had Red Gems, even my current one.

After we get the “gem changes”, this should bring those 2 in picture to +240 each, it will make an unusual min-max value for me, but it won’t matter much since it will make my char stronger for both my physical whack-attacks and the magic portion of Aspergillum. Win-Win versus if I opted for Blue Gems… they should find a better use for it.

So red gems will overlap animus?
Why pay 9kk in animus if you can have away more with lv6 red gems?

I don’t quite get exactly what you meant by this?

Animus’ selling point is the 40% Mag. Amp. gained from your HP Recovery stat.

Doesn’t seem to be connected to Red Gems in any way except for when you socket Red Gems into boots for HP Recovery (w/c is left unchanged).

Is better use red gems on weapon than buy animus. Red gems lv6 are cheap if compared with animus.

Red gems only add towards your Max Matk. So it works like Mamp but instead it adds the increased damage towards your Matk. Animus gives Mamp from your hp recovery value so it is still very needed until the release of element necklaces.

Why not have both? :slight_smile: Aside from Animus’s M.Amp effect, it still has some base Magic Attack with it as well so it’s not “outclassed” yet as a magic-based DPS necklace.

doesn’t this look good? especially for multi hit builds? you already gain 490 + 410 attack which is more than 1 weapon to the whole party
