kTOS General Thread v2.0

More progress on the balancing of content on KTEST. A ton of skill rebalancing, a big defence increase to make armour more important, and widen the gap between Leather and Plate/Cloth. A large amount of Saalus readjusting, the previously announced ET armour exchange, cool new class icons, Summoner and Companion changes, and more. This is another very decent sized update and it appears to be following the timeline of the major balancing changes being completed by the end of the Summer. Overall great changes, I’m very excited!

There seems a change to increase of duration buffs and buff range
most melee skills seems like also get their range increased

no more convent and lake for saalus :grinning:
Although I couldn’t make sense about those lolo and solmiki. Changes on essence required? :thinking:

Aparentely you will be able to trade your earth tower itens for others of the same value, at the start of the change it will be free, but after some weeks it will cost stuff to trade.
But those 300s thauma buffs :drooling_face:

Glad to see they added a synergy with Cataphract + Lancer. Catas still need a lot more to become reasonable, though.

Buff duration increase to 5 mins is pretty nice too.

Since it said “change from 0 to 10” I’m guessing (and hoping) that it now spawns 10 spirits on cast. Waiting for a video on it.

Great nothin for the Scout cls. again. Does IMC even know that the Scout cls. need an overhaul to fulfill there role description? I have enough ideas to do it, but IMC won’t read it anyway.


Two handed blunt for paladin c3 or monk c3

it will have 4 set 3 card each separate by it color
each set has it own set effect but they didn’t mention it so have to wait and see how it wokr later.
also 1 core card at center which will update in future patch.

The hit count changes from 0 to 10. Not sure what a hit count of 0 means. Probably means the number of hits the spirits can withstand before disappearing aka durability.

That it, there was an error in the traduction, already confirm on another post that it mean spirit will be able to withstand 10 hit before disappearing (Anything that hit them make them go poof right now, it kinda sad to do all this work to just see getting kill)

that word “장착” which google translated as “mounted” is wrong it is actually mean “Equip”.

But honestly by that two handed blunt one of cleric R9 class is should be Zealot.

so now 1 saalus enter and 3 cubes as a reward? or its ktos only -.-

it’s still a huge nerf (almost non-viable) even if they use macro…
for example, shoggoth and the skeleton minions will cost 5k every 5 mins…
their corpses will deplete unless they use macro auto disinter…
that’s still a very inconsistent way of getting corpses imo, specially if necros don’t move…
