Some translations for the patch note?
Hello Saviors, Here is a short look at some updates that are expected on the upcoming 10/11/2016 Maintenance.
-
In regards to the Jurate>Ausrine Server merge that took place, players who exceeded their maximum alloted character/companion slots (After this maint) will be required to delete or purchase surplus slots to accommodate their extra characters.
-
A new ‘appraisal’ NPC will be added.
- Appraised items can be equipped, reinforced, added sockets and transcended. They cannot be awakened.
- Items can be appraised from the appraisal NPC located in Fedimian.
- Appraised items can increase the amount of sockets/potential in an item by up to 2x the base amount.
- Once an item has been appraised once and the silver has been spent for the service, That item may not be appraised again.
3.The winners for the Popolion Doll will be announced (11/11/2016)
4. Previously untradable costumes will become tradable once again.
5. New Maps will be added.
6. New Quests will be added.
7. New Guild Event Rewards will be added.
8. The Earth Tower Event will be ending, and the Exams Support Event will begin.
- Students, Cheer UP! Cheer UP!
- In order to eliminate the constnat inconvenience that occurs when buffs run out / meet the buff cap causing overwriting, the system of how buffs disappear will change to use the following rules:
- Overwriting Priority Rank 1: All Buffs except Rank 2 & 3
- Overwriting Priority Rank 2: Buffs purchased at the buff shop
- Overwriting Priority Rank 3: Your own buffs
If the newly applied buff has a lower priority than the ones already applied, the new buff will not be applied to the character. A buff that is overwritten by a new buff is the one with the lowest remaining time amongst the buffs with the lowest extinction rank.
(In a simple term, the higher ranked buffs in specification to the list above gets the highest priority in buff slots and will not be overwritten by smaller ranked abilities. (I.E) a player’s personal buffs will overwrite any buffs that aren’t considered ‘rank 3’ and have the lowest time remaining.)
10.Inventory Tabs will have ‘Equipment’ & ‘Item’ subdivisions
11. An ON/OFF Feature will be added to display or hide other character’s damage.
12. Attribute, Companion Store and Item Enhancement UI will be improved.
13. Various sorts of TP Costumes will no longer be sold in the TP Store.
14. Skill balancing and in-game bug fixes.
Note: I’ll be quite busy around the patch date with some assignments that i must work on, I don’t think i’ll likely be able to post some patch notes on the day the maintenance has completed, hopefully that’s OK
“11. An ON/OFF Feature will be added to display or hide other character’s damage.”
This could improve the fps?
holy sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
0 pot x 2 holy math XD haha. That socket increase tho
Appraiser class should be done and they are waiting to implement in the game, so they are introducing the system, an appraiser player should be able to offer a cheaper and better service (if we go by the Squire exemple) or the appraiser npc is temporary
As I see :D… it is awakening or appraise.
Will this be applied to headgears and costumes too? I have a baaaadd feeling about this.
Awakening an item is really a waste of potential with crap numbers. Appraising items seems awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
But they could be awakened before the “appraising”, right?
Does not currently specify what sorts of items can do such a thing. It is mentioned that that they will be keeping a close eye on this feature once it has been deployed, i would expect balancing to take effect if something appears out of hand.
" Don’t worry too much "
Does not specify further circumstances, I’m sorry.
More information regarding it will be available on patch day.
Thank you Gwen for the answer and your amazing work.
I wonder how does it interact with same skill buff through ranks… Does that mean that higher level/stronger buffs from other sources won’t overwritte yours (and spell shop)? Or does they count as empowering your current buffs and will fall under those rules?
Incoming ultra Five Hammer with 10x high lv gems!
I’m not surprised now. Clerics of course. Hahahaha.
