That’s why I hate hidden classes :3… … …
Could someone translate what those enchants options are?

Does that mean you’re able to pick it at a later rank? I don’t really want to pass daoshi this time ;~: i’m torn between daoshi and miko.
My korean is a bit rusty, so keep in mind it doesn’t have be 100% correct.
- The duration drop of relevant items is decreased by 50%.
- The duration time of debuffs which are effect the player is decreased by 5%.
- Adds 5% magical defence.
- 1% chance of nullifying/ignoring an enemy attack.
- The duration of cleric’s buff is increased by 5% (Buffs from the shop are not effected.)
- You gain one STR stat point for each 20 SPR stat.
what if its a cleric that can use 2h bows ?
2h bows are overrated. Give the Miko a sniper rifle. Much better
Yeah let me just have two high level enhanced, transcended, gemmed, awakened weapon sets. Good advice. Also enjoy losing your Swashbuckling and Finestra buffs when you swap from 1hspear to 2hsword.
Being unable to use skills while mounted or dismounted changes nothing about build limitations? Okay friend. You’ve clearly played a Swordsman before.
Highlander is a poor example because you can keep a level 15 2hander in your weapon swap and it won’t make a lick of difference. They only need to weapon swap for crossguard. And that’s still clunky enough to be completely nonviable in PVP, because you won’t be able to reflexively block things. Swordsmen need auto weapon swap like archers get, and the lag on it needs to be fixed. Also, again, if half your attack skills require a 2h sword and the other half a spear, you’re going to be doing suboptimal DPS unless you can afford to invest in two weapon kits, which is going to get even harder with the new transcendence system.
And even beyond all of that let’s take a look at the fact that the majority of Swordsman’s ability to do damage comes from specific buffs or debuffs to certain damage types. So you’re basically locked into pierce damage builds or strike damage builds or slash damage builds, because the damage you lose without cleave/spear lunge/high kick and slithering is so high.
I think you can. Some ppl take Rune Caster at rank 7 afaik.
But wouldn’t mix well with other classes. ;x
That stick with paper is good enough tho, cuteness power!
You definitely can.
koreans don’t play DievC3
Diev was very un-common early january because it still had the ~6 second carving times, i was actually playing as a diev at that time too and many people asked if it was tough to play as.
" looks cool, but i wouldn’t personally play it "
although it received some great changes, so did the other classes too. i guess there was more interest in those places. the popular clerical build appeared to be supportive oriented and more active based inputs than ‘set-up & stationary’ alternate roles.
Indeed, Dievdirbys was known to be very clunky to play. It wasn’t the somewhat fluid fast-carving class we know it as today. It was extremely unpopular in both early kTOS release as well as CBT2.
Dievdirbys’ sudden popularity in our version release of the game is, to be honest, a little unusual, considering how negative of a stigma the class had. And a lot of our community held onto perceptions of classes from beta, when the game came out, making their class selections off of previous notions.
Why wouldn’t a bow-cleric mix well with other classes? AFAIK Cleric doesn’t really have any skills that require a certain weapon to be used, they can freely use rod or sword or mace, though they get some perks for swords or maces.
PArt of the popularity on our version is in no small part due to the Monk density, many do not like to take ranks such as Priest and Dievdirbys offers a pretty decent physical skill alongside support ones that don’t matter in their stats so a lot of poeple who made builds (such as me) recommended it over Priest to people who wanted to play Monks.
Between all this somehow the fact that Carve Owl has pretty good damage spreaded to magic classes alonside Ausrine, and then the sinergy with Druid resulting in you being able to deal extra damage to basically anything thanks to it’s attribute to deal extra damage to plant monsters. This on top of the fact that once the statues are out you don’t have to worry about them attracted a good number of people.
This was able to happen ebcause Dievdirbys was not popular AT ALL in the beta, but due to it’s problems being forgotten by the great mayority due to the class as a whole being left aside it was able to catch the interest of a lot of people into it’s new buffed state which is totaly fine and good.
you dont see sadhu paladins bcuz sadhus suck and they dont go well together. just bcuz theyre the same rank desnt mean anything, i see dievpriests all the time, wugu svouts are just as common
@Gwenyth @Veritas Yeah, I know how it used to be clunky. But with all the buffs I expected it to have more presence on their Summer strat. ;c

IMC would end up making Paladin and Monk skills usable only with melee weapons, i guess. Would be too weird for them to use their skills with a bow…
Bows don’t give matk as well, so no reason to use them for magic builds? And their magic tiles are mostly melee range too.
It just doesn’t feel right, lol.
But would be cool to mix with Sadhu. Attacking from afar with the bow the same target of the spirit. (but still damage loss due to no matk :/)
For all we knwo they could get something like Chaplain’s Aspergilium.
Or some wacky atribute with Bows.

Wizard mainhand pistol first pls. I want a gunmage
Nah, Wizard dual weilding pistol. Fixed that for ya
Well, if they really get an energized stick, I guess it will be a damage skill based on SPR.
Monk technically uses no weapon for its skills - they get weapon attack bonuses, sure, but all of their skills are still unarmed. Also, I can see a ranged Cleric class being very popular with Priest and would be pretty amazing with Chaplain for ranged Aspergillum, meaning you could do an INT or SPR build with a bow-Miko no problem (depending on their skills).
