I guess the chaplain version some play is more for solo power? Or to extend stone skin?
If I understood correctly, you would like to discuss the advantages of we have a support build for the raid using chap, which implicitly it needs Priest3. Yes, you would have stone skin 100% time which translates into a reduction of 20% of damage by skill description on level 5. I have a Priest3 and honestly I don’t feel that 20% , maybe it is just physical or there are some calculation to be part of the equation.
Anyway, you will also give last rite buff which is another line of damage. It is more helpful with a party with many attacks per second.
I personally would recommend iron skin benefit as you would already invest kabba3 for support high level of HP and other survivability. Also Mekabah can give you another line of damage (which some people doesn’t know) . Could be 2 lines if you use last rite but I don’t think it worth the investment if you think about to use the two ranks necessary to do Priest3 and Chap instead Priest2

Okay, I used tomes to lvl fast to rank6 and just picked chap, wondering if I should have picked oracle or something instead.

I just wanted to ask you if for the meta cleric aa build, it is worth it to go all the way to enhance a masinios mace to +11, +16 or either transcend it. I’m doing very nice im CM with just a +6 and Frieno Set. But I don’t know for WB or Velcoper Raid.
Some new parties at raid
After the peltasta change, pelt is possible as a tanking-rank now. Great for some new party set-ups. Pelt is becoming a popular rank filler again.
Mobile shooter party.
Catagoon tank/taunt and party at raid. Musketeer. Falconer. Kabba. Bulletmarker.
Play used: high mobility to move around and dodge attacks. High mobility to quickly get to heal tiles.
Auto-attack mobile archers keep their distance and keep applying constant damage.
Sword uses new peltasta guardian skill to face tank boss.
Kabba function is obvious.
Off-meta: no linker runecaster.
Visit channel for other parts of raid.
Sorc-Necromancer support and party at raid.
Party 1: Necromancer Decay Missile mobbing support. Wiz3 thaum1 sorc1 necro3 runer.
SR3 Rogue2. SR3 bullet1. 2x kabba3.
Necromancer comment:
sorc-necro minions keep attacking even when the caster moves, but minions die very fast to boss attacks.
Without 2 clerics healing and supporting marnox, he would not be useful. Died many times, equipment broke. Managed to get rank 2 boss-dealer with corpse tower, fleshcannon and lethargy-earthquake.
Party 2:
wiz3thaum1Sorc1Necro3Runer magic support, 2x kabba3. sage2. tankmurmillo.
off-meta: no linker-thauma, but instead a necromancer sorcerer support.
First fencer-party to finish raid!
Use legendary card for bonus damage vs beast (dragon).
Using a fencer matador to get #1 on boss.

Do you know if people need emergency kit to repair inside of the raid ?
Kabba3 still go full con so they can enter any party (party with linker3 or party without) for raid. Kabba3 is always needed. CON provides survival and magic block for kabba too.
No, you should just leave raid and go repair, then return.

@greyhiem Yes. It’s the king of CM, and with Aiming it is God. I was wondering if I could bring it to WB or the new raid in the future. It’s a very fun char. I’m aiming to have a couple of chars to go to the new raid; but so far they ask for my kabba3 for WB since they are lacking and it brings a lot of support to the dps, so they don’t die.
Full support kabba does not need weapon investment (rod or mace with bonus CON is max investment). Rod/mace+shield and 4 piece cloth (CON) for kabba3 passives.
At crowded WB you might have some lag and attack slower. I know some teams using meta aa cleric at raid, this is the only video I have for you right now (meta aa cleric is party member): here link point of view of monk-zealot
If you like this build you could invest shards, you will more easily clear CM and you could also bring it to raid. Expect a shard/trans refund for itos in future patch.

Oh snap so Pelt3 is the new meta?
Meta change happens fast. Pelt is now a viable taunt/tank class to turn boss away from party. Kabba3 healer can focus on healing remaining members.
This makes pelt a good tanker.
The third attribute was removed (too strong):
New attribute for pelt3 + guardian level 11: additional +100% defence increase

Awesome for my tankgoon. Can’t wait for these changes to itos if they stick.
They just need to work more on swordsman’s DPS classes to make them more useful in damage dealing, and we finally will have a functioning tree.
(also nuke shinobi even more, so it’s not mandatory to do damage)

The changes are already on KTOS live server! All raid videos were from Live server (test server gear is not sufficient to complete raid).

Do you know if he party composition of the fencer? Which build did he use?
Stabbing can be used with Rapier (so Preparation + Stabbing combo is really strong). I guess Pierce can be used with Rapier as well??
