No, those balances warranted reset vouchers because of the drastic change in gameplay.

Hoplite, Cata, and Dragoon all got buffs. There were no nerfs to the skills and gameplay didn’t really change. QS running shot was changed to be additive instead of multiplicative, so that part warranted a reset voucher for those who think that the skill is no longer good. Falconer and linker both got resets because of how the aoe ratio mechanics changed. BM received no kind of reset.

Balance for wizards deserved reset vouchers because of the drastic changes in most circles. Swordsman classes recently got buffs. You don’t have to opt out of your builds because of buffs. Shinobi’s bunshin had a drastic change that warranted the resets. Can’t comment on corsair. I feel like it needed at least a skill reset because of the added skill.

Pelt and barb didn’t change much. They’re just getting buffs. IMC buffing classes doesn’t really warrant any kind of reset.

If there were no nerfs to the skills and/or change in gameplay mechanics, then I think it doesn’t really warrant any reset. If your build had buffed classes, good for you. If your build didn’t, you can’t just ask for a reset because you wanna try out a new build that involves the buffed class/es. The whole point of them not giving out resets by the buckets is so that you’d play the game more to try out different builds.

Umm… Pelt is going to be able to get 20% damage reduction (physical AND magic) with up to 200% p.def and 100% m.def. At best we get 55% def (no mdef) at the cost of 15% p.atk (and 15 pts) now. That alone is a huge change.

Barb is basically getting a heal. Barb could possibly reach 150ish HPS (someone showed numbers, I don’t care to look for them again). We get around 20ish HPS now (nobody uses it so nobody builds for HP regen).

Pelt and barb could be chosen for real defensive utility instead of simply being 1 rank wonders for swash and cleave. Some skills are still trash, but I like where IMC is going.

Like I said, if it’s mostly buffing a class, then it doesn’t usually warrant a reset voucher. Changes to guardian might have been good, but I don’t see any need for IMC to give you a reset voucher to opt out of the class. Personally I see the rank reset voucher as something being given to players when IMC fks up your build, and not when they decide to make your build stronger. (also other than the fact that they have given a few out when new ranks/classes come)

As for barb, I doubt anyone would build for this low amount of added utility that wild nature got.

That’s hp regen every 2 seconds.

What barb still offers is both cleave and seism being copyable by bunshin and the warcry attributes it already has at c3. It’s still such a hassle to keep running around just to maintain wild nature.

I’m sorry if I said they didn’t change much. But the overall gameplay of those two classes still stays the same. Pelt is still a tank, just now with even more defense. And Barb is still a debuffer with cloneable seism.

I agree though, I like where they’re heading at least. The guardian changes might be part of their plans to bring more defined roles in party play.

Did they give rank reset when onmyoji was release on ktos ?

About the Sapper and Wugushi scaling with secondary weapon, it’s adding the second weapon damage to main weapon or replace main weapon damage with secondary? Will they give rank resets? And about Hackapell using main weapon on off-hand, does that count too? I really don’t wanna make a sapper/hacka to find at the end it doesn’t work at all

if you dont mind to dismount every single time when putting a trap by all means make one. couz all your traps are not for riding. :slight_smile:

No, they didn’t provide any rank resets. It’s an attribute that you can turn on or off anytime.

Sw3 > barb2 > dopp3 > shin = double slash max , gung ho max

Sw2 > barb3 > dopp3 > shin = frenzy stack + warcry +cleave seism max

guys im torn between these two builds. I want to burst boss and at the same time also do mobbing. Which build is more appropriate in ktos right now? xD

U forgot max Pain Barrier+attribute for Swd 3.

Barb has a poor man’s provoke with warcry,but the cd is awful

dvasia peak quest or any aggro giving quest makes pelt 1 swashbuckling nearly obsolete imo

so sw3 is better than barb3? Im thinking about frenzy max tho. 30% damage increase vs level 5 15%.

get barb3 or you will miss the 3rd rank passives later.
