Hey Grey, why most players are taking Thauma c1 as filler, instead of Sorc c1?

i mean, like:

do you think thauma c1 brings more to the table, instead of the solid and decent summon damage (even full int and c1)? whats your opinion about it.

im wondering play wiz>cryo1>linker3> sorc 2 / sorc 1 rune 1 > sage 2 full spr, or int>spr. and now i see so many thauma c1, im a little confused.

They cannot get Marnox card so they give up on Sorc1. Thauma1 damage buff, swell body/shrink body also not bad. Thauma1 also give +10% damage to summon with Swell left attribute, if you are wondering about thaum1 + sorc builds.

so marnox still like the “must have” summon for c1 sorcerers? i tought that gorkas (idk if its the right name) was a good replacement.
well here im using netherbovine. Since we knew that marnox is going to drop on card albums (the common marnox i refer), prices are dropping so i just sold mine to make some cash… lol

but i like nether actually, i have a stage 7 primus staff and ~200 spr (im full int w3ele3 sorc1 sage2), and he hits for 40k damage~~~~. and attacks very fast.
think i’ll try to get some of the new summons first, to test those new builds

In this video player cast flame ground while in giant rune ON. Anyone knows how skills i can cast in giant mode? (I know wizz skills, RC skills, autobuffs, but pyro skills?)

You can cast many skills in giant mode. But pyro flare cannot be used during giant.

This is smart.

Yes, marnox is still best card due to big hitbox and fast double punch attack. Gorkas is better for ‘normal mobbing’ because its AoE is easier to hit. It is a decent replacement however cannot match the dealer output of marnox.

This is the list of summon ‘normal attack skill’ with animation delay:

Marnox: 1.66s
Netherbovine: 1.66s
Gorkas: 2.81s
Templeshooter: 2.25s
Froster Lord: 3.22s

Marnox and netherbovine speed is similar. Gorkas is slower.

here in brasil we call it Boi (Ox), just cuz its fun to say “here comes the Ox” / "olha o boi !"
I named mine to Bull cuz hes like an enraged Ox with a pair of horns

Haven’t seen any Ele put Prominence their skill bar even with new attribute. Is it that bad not even worth 1 point?

Just difficult to control and other skills are better. And you must hug mob to make it hit properly.


Froster Lord red card Freeze effect will let all Lightning attacks deal x1.5 damage.
New meta card for:
-Zealot2 (fanatic illusion)
-Krivis/taoist (Zaibas stormcall divine punishment)
-Enchanter2 (Lightning Hands)
Optional on: elementalist (Electrocute), and Hackapel (stormbolt attribute)

And at solo challenge mode stage 5 here
Solo clear stage 6 and 7 is too difficult due to extreme mob def, it is easiest solo for ignore-defence characters such as meta aa cleric krivis3 priest3 chaplain inquisitor.

Prom is okay for 1 point, like before kr patch too. Easy and free extra damage.
Looks the same with that attribute, just more hits.

I was thinking about making a wiz2pyrolinkerkino, and was wondering if enchant fire works with spiritual link. Also, does linking and hang knotting fireballs and then using psychic pressure make it hit all the fireballs?

i’ve seen video, in this same topic, showing we can PP(psychic pressure) multiple fire ball but only 1 dmg line comes up. If you PP 5 fire ball only 1 line from dmg will hit the enemies not 5.
Dont know if this is a bug and later will be fix or this is how will work.

Anyone know if we can cast fire pillar / heavy gravity with Rune of giants?

optionnal for rodelero , target smash add damage vs frozen AND attribut is +100% damage vs frozen (rimblow too , but rimblow is bad)

(even if any murmillo pelta rodo build get outshined by a murmillo shinobi one)

Say @greyhiem, could Magnetic force + Frost/Fire Pillar be the new “Mini” Frost Pillar? It’ll not have the unlimited AoE like the old one but it could still vacuum + stunlock/freeze around… 10 enemies? (More or less depending on the situation, 10 targets fixed by skill but if mobbed right the combo could work on more I guess, since both pillars are true AoE right? @.@)
The CD’s would be around 25-30 sec for pyrokino and a little more for Cryo so not sure if it’s a decent combo >.>
Maybe a variant with pyro2+cryo3+kino3 for full CC or kino2/3+chrono3+cryo3/pyro2 for better CD management, still it would be losing linker 3 which could easily link 10 mobs and have the same effect of magnetic force but with a little lower CD e.e
Just curious how good is the “new” Magnetic Force since Kino changes seems superb >w<

I’m really biased towards ench for LH. It’s range so there is a level of safety. It’s AA so it’s available all the time. It has a significant SF so it is not ridiculously weak. It has an AoE so it is not STD.

The fact that you are not at the mercy of CD’s (and interrupts) is what sells the skill to me.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how to build an ench post re-balance.

Mario/Hulk has a modified AA in jump and is getting kd/kb immunity and a 15% mdef debuff for 10sec on a 40sec cd. The pyro2 versions are getting a 10sec super stun on a 30sec cd.

With my own ench being a mario build, I’m getting quite a few buffs and being a support focused build (Swells + future mdef reduction) I could just stay that way, but pyro’s additional 10% min atk from [enchant fire] and the improved [flame ground] and [fire pillar] just look that good.

My 2nd plce build is wiz1-pyro2-thauma3-cryo1-ench2. It’s pretty close being 1 rank off. I considered sorc at r7 just for cat buffs (I only have a rexipher to work with) allowing my party to use unli SP should we want to use it. I ultimately went for cryo cuz it can protect me with freeze (not elites but meh) and has 50% more lightning damage to frozen.

The other build I’m trying to come up with for farming is wiz1-pyro2-kino2-cryo1-rc-ench2 for the pull and hold. This gives up thauma3 because at the end of the day, it is losing ~700 atk from [swell right arm]. I also haven’t quantified what loosing ~1k6 matk will do if I have a pimped out weapon (I’ll eventually get there).

[fire pillar] makes for a better combo with [magnetic force] post re-balance because FP ignores immunities, is on a shorter cd, and is on an earlier rank.

I agree that fire pillar has the best synergy, but I’m curious if this combo is actually a good option, since JP+HG can link and dmg mobs in almost the same way (still 1 more circle for linker 3 vs kino 2 for 10 mobs, but there’s different uses) Kino seems the best CC around tho x3

How good is the vacuum effect (AoE) & the damage of the new Magnet? (the skill factor seems nice at lv 5, fixed 10 targets, the animation is bigger nowadays but the Area affected is a little too small compared to the magic circle imo >w< still the same size and a single hit?)

Unfortunately, that combo works only against small and medium enemies. Large enemies completely ignore the freezing effect from Frost Pillar afaik (at least the Vilka Fighters in the DG300 are immune to freezing). Fire Pillar is better IMO and it even deals more damage! Also, you only need Pyro2 for it, while Frost Pillar is a Cryo3 skill.

IKR? They are turning cryo into dps and failing at the numbers when the difference is very clear when compared to pyro.
