Koreans are better? (KTOS vs ITOS)

I understand they are ran by two different companies, but even still I cannot understand the wild differences.

Any update worth it’s merit that ITOS has received was almost immediately reflected in KTOS. Yet ITOS receives near zero class improvement, save game breaking bugs, receives random cosmetic items (leaving out old content that any hope for), no new quest areas already in KTOS, and so forth.

So why? Is Korea just better than Europe? Southeast Asia? AMERICA?!

Well, rather stay on point, but is most EVERY GAME (From Korea).

Still trying to address the wild inconsistency and more or less insulting behavior towards the international player base.

This is at least somewhat typical for Asian MMO’s.There’s usually a gap of at least a few months for cosmetics/content,but not really sure about anything else.

But this is also the difference between a big publisher backing you in one version,and then going independent on the other version.To them the logic is probably simple: Things are going better in this Korean version [not amazingly better,but still],it takes less work to communicate with players,and we have this whole team to help us with player problems and typical game issues! What was that other BS one we were working on? Oh yeah…

Are there bots and RMT in KToS too? If not, then the issue lies with IMC. If yes, why build a game that allows bots so easily?

@Melon summarized everything lol.

I mean, when IMC announced the iToS CBT, everyone start, Nexon NO, Aeria NO, Gpotato NO, X Y Z publisher NO.

Now IMC have to deal with double of the work, not to count that they have to work on KR version issues, yes they do there so stop thinking that is Nexon who fix bugs and do balance on KR (i know there are some people who think it is that way), not to count that the countless exploits that where abuse, even tho IMC let/knew them, common sense didn’t got applied in the end right?

And on top of that the RMT massive attack at the first month and half, they are still struggling there since the closure of the servers for new players, but you can be sure they will come full force once they see a good amount of new players coming in when the servers are open, not to count the enormous amount of new bots accounts waiting in line to the opening.

There’s bots on the korean version, after level 50, most of the players you’ll see (outside of grinding areas) are mostly bots, and you can see some of them in the mines/cafrisun boss area as well.

People majorly seem to level by getting to 50, doing the dungeons 5 times and then doing it again on another character or just doing it the next day again until they reach a level high enough to get into a grinding spot.
