Hello! Sonata is currently recruiting members who are interested in joining a guild that’s somewhere in between casual and hardcore. We are a relaxed, friendly community of players who want to enjoy the game at their own pace, have fun, and help others, but who also want to take part in more serious endgame content. Above all, our main goal as a guild is to build an in-game family.
Interests and Vision
We consider Sonata to be a casualcore guild – that is, while we ultimately aim to participate in current endgame PvE (e.g. Earth Tower) and organised GvG (when implemented), we don’t force our members to take part, or to make characters specifically tailored for those purposes. You won’t be restricted from participating if you don’t have an ‘optimal’ character build, or expected to min/max. We’re currently set to neutral as we’re not interested in the current open field guild war system. However, the guild will eventually be looking to prepare for endgame content, so if you share this ambition, then great! – we’re working on some very rough ET rosters, and we’ll plan for it more actively when more of our members are ready.
Game content aside, we believe strongly in creating and maintaining a mature and friendly social environment. We’re dedicated to ensuring all of our members get along with each other, feel comfortable in both in-game and Discord chat, and can ask for/offer help. Additionally, we encourage guild-wide invitations to grind parties, map quests, dungeon rushes, world bosses, and anything in between. Guild events are on our radar too – our first event, a group photoshoot session, went off without a hitch, and we’re regularly discussing ideas for future events.
Our Members
We ask that all members:
- Are mature and level-headed
- Have at least a conversational understanding of English
- Are reasonably active in-game
- Regularly check and participate in our forums and Discord chat
- Understand and abide by our rules
We don’t have a strict level requirement - we prefer that your activity level in-game is high enough that, if you’re a lower level than most of the guild, you’re levelling at a good enough pace to be able to catch up so you can participate in things such as grind parties and boss hunts. Talt contributions aren’t mandatory, but we’d appreciate weekly donations of around 5-10 talt to help grow the guild.
How to Apply
If you’re interested in applying for Sonata, head over to sonata-tos.enjin.com, read through our rules, and submit an application form. When applying, we ask that you please write at least a couple of sentences in the final section, as it’s what helps us to get to know you better. These responses will be the most influential in getting the admins to reach their decision.
