Is “kill steal” punishable or am I missing something in Rules&Etc?

It’s unclear but anything that negatively effects player experience is against the rules (ie: harrasment).

The thing is: IMC designed XP/Loot rules. I’m not sure how it works, but it’s crystal clear something is going on as the game tells you which loot is yours (ie: World Bosses do have special rules about their loot).

Complaining about it seems useless, the class system itself (as well as valuable drops from low level monsters) supports player positive/negative interaction: you can make parties or suffer with “kill stealing” and “trolls”.

OBS: ToS is based on grind, you should’ve prepared yourself to contest monsters/bosses.

That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about a user obviously following someone around and then bringing friends to help harass a player --at least that’s what the OP’s statement sounds like. THAT is against the game rules.

That’s why you should at least see the screenshots posted.
His party was grinding in Dina Bee Farm (seems like they were standing still somewhere, probably a “hot spot”) and someone else was/went there (his screenshot alone doesn’t tell whoever was there first), he started complaining (and one of his party member even verbally harassed the “kill stealer”) and threatened “reporting” that behaviour.

Look, I’m not defending nor agreeing with it, but let’s be honest here: everybody wants an empty bot-free channel for “peaceful grinding”. From what was posted, OP’s party was leveling and someone else started competing for “monster kills”. That’s perfectly healthy since ToS was designed that way (parties should gather players around the hunting area; other parties should move to empty respawns; in crowded areas people will compete for monsters/loot/bosses).

And again, if what the OP is talking about is that he is being actively stalked by other players–you know “harassed,” then it’s a reportable offense. In fact anything that you think is reportable is something that should be reported. That’s why these sections exist. The players aren’t the ones who decide the validity of the claims, that’s one of the jobs of the staff.

Now fraudulently filing a complaint about another player just because they are killing in the same area as you is also an offense. It’s not our job to decide which is going on.

You shall not continuously act in a way to disrupt other players’ gameplay.

I was reporting them because they wanted to disrupt PURPOSELY our group, despite requests ignored and stood in the middle to disrupt. And after being complaining and cursing our group and called the TS member to help him to mess up our game. I’m not complaining because the grind location, but by their attitude.

Then you should post/prove it instead of uploading contraditory screenshots (again, one member of your party verbally harassed the “culprit”). Nobody can tell what really happened just by looking at these pictures, in worst case scenario it can actually turn against you.

If he’s following you, please record and post…
