Just switched characters to a melee (currently Sw2>hop1). I felt like Mouse STILL gave me more control, even on a melee character, because it’s easier to aim and attack. But it also feels uncomfortable because i kinda rely on less hotkeys because i’ll use WASD to move.
Anyone that tried both can update me on pros and cons?

Well, it kinda bugs me, because if i don’t use mouse, i actually have to use arrows to aim, which is annoying as hell.
Gotta use them both in my experience or that’s what I feel works the best for me 
I used Keyboard controls when I started to play. Switched to Mouse controls later, never got out of it.
Sometimes I get annoyed by some buggy thing on Mouse mode, and I think if Keyboard isn’t better. But I just can’t change it.
Even on melee classes (swordsman and cleric), I feel that is better to play with the Mouse.
Using a wireless controller is a bit buggy tbh (off topic I know)
I tried both but i think keyboard is a lot more fun.

i tried both and playing with my pyromancer mause works better than keybord.
ex: skill flame ground
mouse: place everywhere, far or not
keybord: place in front of you. if you try to put a little further, holding skill button, it goes too slow. very slow. you just dont move your skill.
( i tested with other classes/skill and the results are the same)

i use a combination, for example mouse mode WASD to move and Space to attack, usefull when you have attacking mobs with alot mobility or flying mobs like bees, it helps alot with auto target being an archer i mean you dont need if you can’t target the mob you will keep attacking fast, also with swordie you won’t get tired clicking, i just use the mouse to target i mean, its faster than gamepad/keyboard only.
the problem with this is you can’t jump while pressing jump+SD or jump+AS, i cant attack with shift it looks like you need to combine shift with another key.

I used mousedmod at first and then switched to keyboard mode because :
1/ Jump / Auto Atk > making you do auto atk while jumping is easier to use on keyboard mode.
2/ I played a hoplite/cataphract at cbt2 with no possibility to redo control and with an azerty keyboard > so first there where problem with launching “stabbing” skill while moving where since you where moving it would cancel it right after 1st or 2nd hits instead of doing the 13hits and dash was pretty unusable for me while i wasn’t yet a cataphract.
I tried mouse mode a little again in early access but well it was still easier for me to play in keyboard so i remained in keyboard mode.
Get a XBOX360 controller or PS4 or a Logitech G310 or any controller compatible with windows. Its a lot better than keyboard or mouse.
