Hi, I have yet to try the beta, but I’ve been following the game for around 2 years.
I just wanted to say, thank you for making a English steam version. And I really hope this game can stand the test of time like RO1. Expansions, Cosmetics, and much much more.
So far from what i’ve seen, and I watch a lot. This game looks fantastic.I just hope it stays hardcore/semi-HC
Any beta testers able to share their thoughts. pro’s and con’s?
So far the game really is quite amazing, even with the current exp rates (t really isn’t as hard as everyone is saying).
Pros:
-Beautiful music and maps
-Nice animations and skills
-So far the community is really great even though it’s only in Beta
-Good amount of gear choices
-The gameplay is just satisfying and enjoyable to play
-Drops aren’t overly hard to find, making crafting accessible to everyone
Cons:
-Crafting system needs to be expanded on and larger
-The exp rates are a tad low and could do with a minor adjustment (still keep it semi-HC, but not enough that it scares away casuals)
-Mages are pretty weak it seems, so they could do with a buff
There’s a lot more that I could probably add in, but I’ll save that for later. Overall the game is really nice and I really can’t wait for OB to start
awsome, thx for your input. One thing i hope they add also would be Housing, maybe some place to store stuff, and show off you’re boss trophies and achievments
As for cons, there’s a massive lack of customization in the game. First, I already love Tree of Savior, it hits most of the right notes with me (great music, gorgeous visuals, great music, fun gameplay, great music, class variety, etc), but stuff like all characters having the exact same face and not having the option of darker skin tones is a bit bumming for a MMO being released in most likely 2016. Hopefully they add some customization options before the final release.
Future expansions would be a fantastic way of keeping the game alive, I think!
