Please! People have been shouting nonstop for a while now. The community is starting to look like an angry mob that will surely divide the very community they insist they’re trying to nurture. I’m surprised the staff are even logging on, knowing the harassment they’re about to get hit with the moment people see they’re around. If I were one of them, I think I’d be tempted to change jobs to something away from interacting with us.
Let’s try and keep calm. Be polite. Realize that this relationship is like any other. It needs compromise and nobody is perfect. I’m sorry that some of you made plans and banked on the 22nd. I’m sure IMC are also upset that things hadn’t gone the way they hoped. They’re trying to work with us and we’re not appreciating this enough.
A week ago we were great and friendly. A real community. What happened? No, don’t answer that question just yet. I just want a bit more time to point out how we’ve somehow changed so quickly. We went from being reasonably upset to taking things too far because there’s an excuse.
I guarantee that what IMC has done isn’t shaping up to be the thing that could fracture this community or keep it from being something great. It’s us. We’re overreacting, turning on eachother and not just on IMC. We’re doing the net equivalent of rioting on the streets and flipping cars over because we’re not happy with the establishment.
