Kabbalist build - Some sugestions please

Currently Spr/Con 1:1

This is my current build and in group setting I quite enjoy it.
However, when soloing, it is a nightmare against flying mosters and mostly because a good chunk of its damage comes from Druid.

What would you change? I’d like to be able to solo a little bit better, but without missing my main focus as a healer in groups.
Would you drop Druid2? I really like its constant healing + immunity.
Going Cleric3 was a little overboard? Went there mostly for “linger” attribute.

Thank you.

I’d definitely say Cleric 3 is too much, Priest 3 would offer really nice durability where as Cleric is just a few extra heal tiles and that can be a double edged sword.

This build is basically just a healer though, looking at it as “when soloing, it is a nightmare against flying mosters and mostly because a good chunk of its damage comes from Druid.”

I just wonder why are you soloing, why is your focus on damage? Personally I’d never run a build like this but if you’re going to, maybe reconsider what your priorities are.

IMO Kabba 3 is under powered, even before Ein Sof got nerfed, but now especially after, 65-71 is not long enough for a buff that gives max hp but not current hp. In a fight that lasts 71 - Heal CD (Whichever heal you used to replenished the gained hp) seconds, you benefit from having Ein Sof, in a fight that lasts between The Previously Calculated Number to 71 seconds, you have no gain, you lose a heal but gain an HP buff that is the heal you lost, the only gain is if you happen to take damage greater than the hp you would normally cast heal at. Lastly, if your fight lasts longer than 71 seconds, you must refresh your Ein Sof, at this point you’re throwing away heals in most scenarios, the longer time goes on the worse Ein Sof is for you and the only way it redeems itself is by allowing you to take a hit greater than what you would have been able to without it. So for example if you have 100k hp and you always cast heal at 80k or higher, then the only way Ein Sof ends up being worth it in a fight that lasts more than 71 seconds is if the opponent you are facing hits 80k damage on you in a single hit or at the very least in such a short amount of time that you couldn’t heal through it.

That’s not me saying you shouldn’t invest in Ein Sof, if you go Kabba it is the greatest thing about being Kabba. It’s just that I don’t think it’s good enough to justify going Kabbalist in most situations.

Cleric3 is definitely going overboard. There are so many heals around, heal, mass heal, Chortasmata and Tree of Seph.

In my opinion you might want to consider dropping Cleric3 for Dievdirby1. It grants more support than what cleric 3 gives. If you want more dps as a solo… having one of the R8 classes, Exo1 or Inquisitor1 is going to help Kabbalists quite a fair bit, but you will have to drop Druid2 for it.

First of all, thank you all for your imputs. Please keep it comming

Let me explain why the solo part:
Even though this Kaba is made thinking in group scenario, I do like to story time to time. On my second alt, I’m a ele/lock/RC and even though exploding things is a breeze, it keeps a very high SP/HP potion consumption rate, it is around a HP potion every two or three pulls. More if there are elites in the middle.
My kabba, on the other hand, is a suistain god, just takes forever. So I was thinking on adding a little bit of extra damage to help in those solo moments but also bring than just a lot of heal in CM/Raids.

Really? Cleric 3 is for “linger” attribute mostly.
However, I cant deny that diev1 brings a lot in a CM scenario.

Cleric C3 is 1000 times better than going for Priest C3. I played with a guy with a similar build on Velcoffer yesterday. The run with him was a complete disaster, compared to the run with my C3>P2>Diev>Kabba3(not Rank 10 yet, but no plan to go Priest C3) build.

Priest C3 only offers so much after all. Druid is nice on paper, but without enough defence, it just causes the huddling phenomenon, which makes people take way more damage than necessary (it’s hard to keep track on Sterea Troph buff duration on the non-Druid).

The build in general also has the problem that the support isn’t that much. Sure, you have some healing (which doesn’t help much if no-one has enough CON to share) with Chortasmata, but if the grass is placed wrongly, it endangers the party more than it helps them to stay alive.

My build uses Diev because I have less downtime on Healing skills that way.

About Cleric C3:

Cleric C3 is now the core on any Cleric support build. There are two reasons:

  1. you have access to Divine Might level 10/11. This allows you to boost the damage of your party members by a lot, and to boost the recovery value of your own healing skills.

  2. you have access to Guardian Saint and the Heal:Linger attribute. Both of them boost the recovery value of Mass Heal and Heal by a lot (50%), and because the lingering effect recovers over time, you can outheal a lot of damage after the recipient gets damaged anew (really good for Velcoffer & Demon Lord Hunting, especially if the party has enough defence).

These two reasons make your character much more effective when it comes to recovering the other party members. That’s why I definitely recommend Cleric C3.

chances are slim that you heal 80k+ without high CON on target and high SPR and without Ein Sofs attribute.
I’m healing ~ 80k with Ein Sof (520 CON, 330 SPR, max level, lvl 7 Guardian Saint) directly per tile of Heal.

The great advantage is though not the direct healing value but the boosted overtime recovery by the Linger attribute(which can be even prolonged by base camp if required for Demon Lord hunt).

So if my Heal tile recovers 80k, the lingering HoT will recover additional 40k over 10 seconds,
which is enough to ± outheal Velcoffer damage when you got enough defence and are not tanking every hit to the face. It also boosts the recovery value of Aukuras a lot (without attribute, a level 5 Aukuras scroll recovers 9k per tick on my char [and thus on everyone with 520+ CON]), which can be utilized as in-between recovery if Heal is not enough(stage 3 Velcoffer e.g.).

That’s why Ein Sof is really useful.
I wouldn’t use it just for beefing through damage (though it’s useful against e.g. Zauras damage output) but rather as a 50+ seconds recovery boost. If needed, you can also use it for bonus SP recovery (useful when Velcoffer drains them) if the party members have enough HP…

I’d keep the ranks as is tbh.

In terms of dps Druid2 is still the best option assuming you wish to keep kabba3 and cleric2. That it has healing + invuln on top is just icing on the cake.
PD1 is the closest alternative, with either druid1(still can’t hit flying) or miko (but hamaya is rather meh), but it’s not as good imo.

In terms of healing cleric3 and kabba3 are insanely good and I just wouldn’t want to replace them.
Cleric3 gives a +50% heal from its linger attribute per heal/mass heal, and a +30% to your healing power stat.
Whereas kabba’s doubled heal, tree of sephiroth and health boosts are also quite solid, though you could forgo kabbalist entirely to do a cleric dps with the bare essentials. (but it’s not as good as a healer ofc.)

Priest3 is a luxury that can be rather nice if you have cleric3 and kabba3, since both kabba’s attribute, cleric3’s attribute and guardian saint (patron saint atm? cba to check) all boost mass heal.
But usually, it’s just healing overkill and outperformed by diev1.

Dievdirby1 is very tempting to fit in there, but comes at a significant loss. Maybe at r11 instead

I would however propose these changes:

  • Lower carnivory to 4, and put 1 in shapeshift and 5 in transform, since carnivory can’t hit flying enemies and tends to be literally overkill due to how much maxed chorta and base lvl 1 carnivory already deal. (as blom transforms for example can hit flying enemies, and it also opens up more defensive/utilty options)

  • I’d outright ignore Double Chance as it only works for 1 hit, has a tiny aoe and needs a ton of skill points. Put it into naschash instead imo.

  • Try to shift your stats more towards int, since only mass heal and heal use your heal stat. Int will still add to healing power, just not as much, but also helps quite a bit to get more matk on your few attack skills.

  • Try to get +int/+spr(/+con) equips whenever possible, and same goes for matk on head accessories.

That and the basic try to use the best weapon you can asap ofc. A properly enhanced rod will help tons.

Or do the old “level with a top dmg build and reset into your healing build later on” strat.
