If that’s the case then why hasn’t the equipment feature been implemented yet? TP pets benefit more from that. The recent changes does not incentive TP consumption directly.
I don’t contact IMC so I have no clue, they mentioned before that they’d only release changes that can be considered ready and safe from future changes. (I’m aware that the Hunter changes did not coincide with what it was told in the patch changes and that the class is not completely fixed).
I just used the Hunter changes as a counterargument to OP’s generalization, that’s all.
