Just Some of My Thoughts about TOS Mechanic

hye guys :slight_smile: … I cant wait to play TOS ENGLISH VERSION!!

so far I’ve seen in YouTube videos, the bosses are good and nice. However, instead of just boss skills, I’ve been wondering if developer can add some environment mechanic to make it more fun and challenging at higher level gameplay, such as making players solve puzzle to weaken the boss(exmple: reflecting lights using mirrors and blind the boss give players time to dps, usually this kind of boss is in dark place), or making the boss run away to next battlefield at certain HP and each battlefield got its own mechanic…

Also, maybe TOS can use time system according to the server time where it turns dark at night and bright during the daytime, so they can create field bosses according to the time system where raid during the night time giving more advantage making the boss miss some skill(30% percentage to miss) while raid during daytime giving more advantage on damage boosting(15% more dmg)…well, ofc it doesnt effect bosses in cave or dungeons for this mechanic…hehe

thats all…its just my thought anyway :slight_smile:

I like your environment mechanic suggestion. But the server time thing I’m not quite sure. Considering it’s an international server, some people can only play at a certain time period so they wont be able to experience the other time periods in game. Maybe a modified and more balanced idea would be to have an in game day/night cycle that’s shorter than real time cycles. That way everyone would be able to experience the same things even if they play at different times.

ahh yeah…i guess you’re right about the time system bcuz it wont be fair to everyone from different region… btw the time thingy is just suddenly came across my mind so i typed it XD…the main idea was the environment mechanic ahahha

and some ideas are coming across my mind right now such as making the boss invulnerable until it meets some condition which is players are needed to get a sacred sword from the mid-boss in certain chamber and place it on the boss altar to weaken it and make it vulnerable :smile:

Night and day cycles might work a bit better if they make it a ratio of 4:1 or 6:1 for game days to real days.

As for boss mechanics, I wouldn’t make it too complicated unless it’s going to be an instanced dungeon. An idea of something simple would be learning that a boss that likes to charge at players is allergic to certain shrubs that grow in the area.

haha yeah…that idea is kinda good too…learning boss weakness huh…well at least this kind of mechanics helps in adding 10-20% chance to kill some hard boss :blush:
