Just got back. Sort of

So I stopped playing and I want to level up my characters - one at 240 and another at 260). I think I stopped probably a month before r8 came and back then, people grind to 280. I have a lot of questions since there is a lack of updated leveling guides.

Is it possible to quest till 280 now?
What are the grind spots after that?
Do people still grind to 280? What about up to 280?
What are the new grinding spots/dungeons and level ranges for post-280?
Are there new daily missions/dungeons in fedimian? Or does the daily merc still doesn’t give exp card above lvl 9?

I’m also planning to make a new character and before, I was following this guide for pre-alemeth grinding

Is this still applicable?
What’s the fastest way to lvl 100~200?

Grind spot
if you like to grind and save cards

Level 190-240 at alemeth forest.
Level 240-260 at storage.
Level 260-285 at maven abbey.
Level 285-310 at jeromel park / timerys temple.

Level 310+ any level 300+ map, such as mollogheo forest / alembique cave / emmet forest / syla forest / mishekan forest … select based on mob type flying, ground, element, armour type.

Alemeth even at 240? Were there any changes to exp?

Yes, you receive -5% exp per level difference
after 10(?) or it was 20 levels difference. Can’t find patchnote anymore.

truffle stop at 230 -> quest is faster than truffle to 240.

You can quest a lot of the way to R8 (~275) and even a lot of the way to 330 now, but it’s not always good exp. Most people grind a lot of it, it’s faster.

Yes, they changed the exp penalty. Now it’s +/- 20 levels you get 100% exp, greater/less than 20 levels you lose 5% per level, so you get 0% if you’re 40 levels above. But it stops at 5% if you’re >40 levels below in world map dungeons (like tenet church, DP, etc), letting people power level others in Royal Maus Worker’s Lodge.

but the problem is, it’s difficult to find any parties. I’m in telsiai but the server feels dead. Also, did they remove some of the dungeons? where can i see the new list of dungeons

just type /indun in normal chat

oh. yah i forgot about that. lol. thanks!

When is it best to use up level 9-11 exp cards assuming i’ve done all the quest that give these cards?

If I’m already done with my daily dungeons and missions, and I’m out of quests from my current level, I pop up cards until I unlock the next quest.

If I haven’t done my daily dungeons yet and have enough cards to reach the next dungeon (except for Catacombs [lv.230 dg in Fedimian City]), I use them so I can do the higher level dungeon and get better exp instead of the current one that’s available. This of course rely on what time you’re playing since you need to make sure you’ll have people to queue with.

I use cards as i get em. Only dead zone is 269-275. After that u unlock lvl 13 cards from exploration and it is a breeze to almost 290.

Never grinded on any of my 330s (i have 4)

back then there were dungeons worth skipping since they didn’t give good exp (dg 160 and 170, iirc). Are there such dungeons currently? Or are all dungeons worth doing for exp?

lv.230 dg inside Fedimian City (Catacombs, used to be lv.200). I tried full-running it solo (since no one queues for it) and have noticed how horrible the exp is compared to other dgs.

lke what ZeroFoxGiven said, 230 dungeon has horrible exp. You might as well queue runs for 200 dungeon (former 190). However, it might reach a point wherein 230 dungeon would be better, since the next dungeon is 260 (exp penalty)

Sad to say, many people play only on primetime since that’s the only free time for many students/working players. However, a short in-game shout (get megaphones everyday) or joining Discord servers (Telsiai has some) and even joining guilds (who knows, you might find people who play at the same timeframe as yours) can help alleviate the problem of finding parties.

You can quest all the way up to 280 now. But grinding is easier for most of the people.

i only started playing on Telsai 2 days ago and I am level 260 now so it is definetly much easier now. (have been using a few 8x tomes though from the new player event).
