This is just the typical quest you get in MMOs. sigh

TOS is am MMO after all and green quests are suppose to be as bland as cardboard…

ToS is in a post apocalyptic setting, where npc stays put and the ones that keep going will meet certain doom Owo

Maybe she doesn’t know what ceyral sapling look like?
After all,she seems to be a sheltered village girl [she came from a far away place to collect them and wears tidy clothes and shoes].
Or maybe the plant has thorns or sharp leaves (like some have,randomly causing you to bleed while on gathering quests) and she’s just clever enough to send someone else to pick them so she doesn’t hurt her hands?
Apologies aside, MMORPG questing is mostly dumbed down to be either escorting,traveling,gathering,monster hunting or interacting.
Some of them are done extremely lazily, like most of TOSs quests, and NPCs are just sign boards with a human skin who have only a few pieces of information to share with you.
With a bit of love and programming skill, the world could look much more alive, but as IMC gives up on all things very fast (e.g. map gimmicks, 3rd circle Class costumes, monster gems, collections, fishing, daily quests, map features, etc.) we can’t expect them to breathe more life into the game by making NPCs better.
This just reminds me of the quest with the forgeries where the guy just tells you to watch them for him because he’s too lazy to do his work.
