Job Change Orsha and Klaipeda

I have a character currently trying to change jobs to Ranger Circle 2. I started in Klaipeda and thus received the quest to go hunt for a piece of book in the Mines Floor 3, hunting Vubbe Fighters. :wink:

After endless channel hoping and countless hours of witnessing the Vubbe Fighters getting killed mostly by fellow players (because everyone wants the Vubbe Blood, which I can’t blame them) I gave up. :cry: There are too few Vubbe Fighters, the 20 something that I got lucky enough to kill in the span of many hours didn’t provide me with the quest item I needed. :sob: I became quite desperate, until I though to myself, what if I abandon the quest, and go back and change the class I picked, but that’s not possible. :scream: I still abandoned the quest and went to Orsha hoping the Ranger Master there will give me a better job change quest, but I was only offered attributes. :dizzy_face:

Ingame unemployment hit me in the most unexpected way. I am stuck at Ranger C1 at the moment. Mainly due to the fact that I find it unbelievably time consuming for a job change, especially compared to some other classes, that is why I decided to suggest that players have a choice between job change quests from both Klaipeda and Orsha. Meaning that even if I chose to begin in Klaipeda, and even if I only get the advancement teleport to Klaipeda Ranger, it would be nice that I could still manually teleport to Orsha and pick up the job change quest there if I wanted to.

Or at the very least, if the item drop isn’t high, and the number of monsters is low, it would be nice that at the very least those few monsters didn’t drop much other useful items, because it was really hard for me to outrun the crazy wave of players all looking for Vubbe Fighters. I considered myself lucky if I even saw one in the span of 30 minutes. :runner: :walking: :dizzy_face:

Or maybe it would be awesome if the quest was abandoned before completion you would be allowed to choose anew which class you want to progress to. :crossed_swords::eyes: :bow_and_arrow:

To those who are Ranger Circle 2 :bow_and_arrow: , guys you’re either super lucky or super patient, whatever it is, amazing job really. :trophy:

Doing a job change for the same class from Klaipeda is different from Orsha.

I tried changing to Ranger myself from the Klaipeda town and it’s hard to get that book when there isn’t much of them in the map plus people are hunting them for the Vubbe Blood.I have been jumping channel to channel and it’s really isn’t worth spending hours to just get that low chance drop quest item to change to Ranger.

I would change the quest objective for the Klaipeda side or give us a chance to abandon the class change quest so we can pick up the other one from the opposite town.

Like for example,if i don’ want to do the Klaipeda change job quest,I would be able to abandon it and do the Orsha job change quest instead.

Orsha’s missions are generally much easier and generic. Kill x monters. Kill x type y monsters. Things like that.

But then I got hit hard when I tried to go Fletcher and had to walk a looooooong way through the undiscovered klaipeda maps because the unique fletcher quest was there. Exactly 10 maps from Klaipeda, a bit less from Fedimian.

I made a new character this time I started in Orsha… in comparsion to Klapeida, it took me barely 3 minutes to get to Ranger Circle 2, all I had to do was to collect some rocks. If any of you are thinking of going Ranger, consider starting in Orsha, it is a billion times better so far.

Hey @Eillice!

The quest for Ranger Rank 2, whereas you need to kill a Vubbe Fighter to get Lydia Schaffen and Rumpeltiltskin, is not at Crystal Mine 3F.

That quest points to Miner’s Village. Move to the Vubbe Village at Miner’s Village and there you’ll be able to find what you have to kill and get the book.

Edit: Sometimes i think that i got stuck at certain point of a quest. So a tip that i can give is: Always check where is the area that the quest points. It’s pretty useful! :slight_smile:

I already erased that character so I cant check, but I remember finding the location very vague. :confused: There were no area in the map shown or flags leading me to anywhere.

Best to my recollection the quest itself mentioned getting some book pieces from specifically Vubbe Fighters in the Mine Area.Last time I check Vubbe Fighters were in the Mines Floor 3, the Vubbes in Miner Village are called Vubbe Thiefs, so it was either an error in translation, or maybe the quest got changed.
Also, there were two other rangers I spoke to in the mines who were desperately doing the same quest, so if they meant the Vubbe Thiefs in the Miner Village, I’m not the only one who got tricked.
But if you have done it recently, I’m glad it worked out!!! :blush: It was hell :smiling_imp: when I was trying hahaha. If anything I hope if anyone else gets stuck like me they see your comment here and that will fix it for them. :wink:

I did a couple of days ago and went directly to Vubbe Village at Miner’s Village. I had no problems doing that.

Although, a friend of mine was doing that quest last weekend, and was also complaining that he was desperate killing Vubbe Fighters at the third floor inside the mine. He told me, but i haven’t figured it out and was WITH HIM killing the Vubbe Fighters. Haha… whatta dumb, huh?!

Anyway… i think that people get desperated about killing Vubbe Fighters (once the respaw rate is SO low and unstable) that it gets all attention, and they go straight there to the 3rd floor without reading where the quest is in fact.

Sad that you deleted your toon, but life goes on… :smiley:
