Japanese Voices Disappeared after Recent Updates

Well, the version is different.

Last patch from Nexon broke many things (inability to use ground-targeted and party-targeted skills, ability to run after casting Flame Breath/Rubric, which also had a very long duration). One month later Nexon made an announcement about the service termination.

Then IMC took over JP version and recycled the client.

I mean, I saw this link to nexon.co.jp in Steam client which was funny.

IMC reverted a few patches to the point where my Wugushi had problems with flying enemies again.

jTOS had Arts update on January 8th and no 4Ever update so far (2 weeks behind iTOS).

All in all, jTOS client is in a very messy state right now. Maybe it will improve later.

oh really ? I just got in the game today.
Thanks anyway

Yep JP voice work fine now here new jp voice addon I use @atari sound file above.

I don’t sure if there is any different between steam default JP voice and JP client voice

Edited after checking with dataminer current steam client use newest jp voice it has jp voice up to ep12 including all new class so there will be no more jp voice mod.

Even jTos client doesn’t have them yet

there should be update soon.

Yeah, I know. Tomorrow is the day.

Now I have a general idea why Japanese voices been turned off. New classes were lacking JP voicing and old sound file didn’t work properly with the new game version. Probably that’s the reason why JP voice addon didn’t work either.

Right after IMC finished voicing, they’ve updated the Japanese sound file for iTOS and ready to roll ep12 on jTOS.

New classes voicelines are still in korean actually.
Maybe they want to wait for JP update before turning them on? pretty weird.

That’s weird
here file comparison from dataminer who’s testing my file
above is my mod using atari sound file
bottom is current steam file
link with be remove in 6 hour
link removed

as you can see there is new voice for new class.
I also checking it personally
current steam jp voice has 1686 voice index
my mod has 1572 voice index

let wait and see if there is any new voice in jp client.

data/sound.ipf didn’t change, but I’ll upload it just in case. It is dated 12/1

there are 4 patch files dated 3/11

voices are in patch/281347_001001.ipf/sound.ipf/skillvoice_jap.fsb which is bigger than data/sound.ipf/skillvoice_jap.fsb

Already checked it has 1686 voice index same as steam jp voice file.

OK after dataminer checking a file he said there are 128 new jp voice which is different from current steam jp voice mostly new voice for all new class.

so here jp voice mod using new jp voice

please test it.
