In case some people didn’t follow ktos thread,

melstis.
-create a magic circle to increase buff effects
-Duration increase +100% for melstis lvl 5
-cannot exceed 20 seconds increase

Not sure yet with damage from Retreat shot tho. and also… again, RIP ausrine melstis?

Retreat Shot still hits like a truck though.

It’s close to 600% factor, while Dethrone is 700% for example.

Also the Ranger part of SR was also buffed(Steady Aim/Barrage/Bounce Shot got buffed).

Considering how skills got retarded SP consumption now, the uptime of retreat shot with the new melstis is still really nice.

Ultimately I’m waiting for the way things pan out. I’d like some feed back. If they’re truly reworking damage and the way things work out, I’m open minded. But I think that I will back out of playing SR.

SR looks godly compared to how much lower everyone else’s damage got, SR is one of the less affected ones if you ask me.

Rip fencers.

Fencers have an ability that applies Armor Break, and in the new logarithmic damage formula having 0 defense will spit out some stupid results. Guildmate crunched the numbers and a base attack dealing 5000 damage will hit for 18,000 instead.

Any class with an Armor Break ability, assuming Armor Break doesn’t change, will be incredibly useful. Fencers can only hope that this turns out to be the case when it hits iToS.

anything that reduces crit resistance, defense, magic defense will be extremely useful so certain debuffers are going to become more relevant.

such as bokor with their new 24% magic defense reduction to bring casters back to the even field.

What, Melstis? It’s a Krivis 3 power, currently it’s a channeled spell that freezes the timers on all beneficial buffs for players nearby for as long as the spell is maintained.

You could get upwards of 40 seconds added to any buff’s duration. Now, the upcoming changes include a big nerf to Melstis, which reduces the maximum extension of a buff to only 20 seconds at max level. This throws it out of synch with the cooldowns of some other class’ abilities, like the Diev’s Ausrine Statue and many SR skills, preventing them from having 100% uptime.
