Not sure kettle being black applies. There are forums that aren’t full of douchebaggary. But that’s because they’re moderated. We largely are not.
Or you’d have been IP muted instead just having a couple accounts muted. As well as mutes handed out to the other dbags you listed. Joe because he’s racist and Tree_of_crash because his last thread honestly.

Its just a progressive p2w to me. Let me break it down how i see it.
You can buy and sell tokens for in game money. No problems with this. It actually helps the game imo. People can pay for free and still get token benefits, imc still makes money. everyone contributes.
Pets with stats. Why the stats? They arent big stats so i can look past it. They also get extra equipment slots though. I can see more powerful tp companions in the future.
Costumes tradeable for in game silver. this doesnt really help as much as the tokens. Free players dont need it, but i guess old costumes wont go to waste.
Cosmetic gacha. This isnt p2w, but its there just to get people to spend more money.
Now we might get gacha with blessed shards, silver anvils and other things.
Now by spending you get silver, which the whole game revolves around pretty much, blessed shards which make your equipment very strong and you get limited amounts for ones who dont pay, and silver anvils to save millions of silver. Saw some gem abrasions in there too.
Not to mention they said items to remove gems without reducing levels or breaking them are coming. Next will be no potential loss on upgrades.
Even if the majority of these benefits are attainable without spending other than the pets, if it saves you a enormous amount of time by spending i still consider it p2w. This is also why i consider resets p2w.
Why does this matter to me? Because i like to stay relevant and competitive in the games i play. If i have to either spend to do these things or live in the game to keep up with ones who do spend then the game isnt for me. Not that i see anything wrong with spending, I still buy stuff but i dont want to feel like i need to.
See how its progressively become more and more? What will they add few months from now? I know alot of these changes arent here yet so maybe they wont be here.
