4k, it is pretty bad for a game with only introduce for 1 year
and it is even worse in EU server
what i mean last straw isnt i will quit, but it really disgust me this way of money sucking
there are many game that is F2P with premium stuff that dont have gacha system and still doing pretty well
Just had two friends quit last week, another one going this week probably.
I hopped servers and started fresh with some people on Orsha that I know are still playing. It’s just disappointing all around. Hero’s Song’s alpha 3 is tomorrow, so hopefully that will be fun.
Gacha is ridiculous. There are better monetization options. Luckily, with that one patch… most of it can be sold on the marketplace right? Yet another reason for non-whales to RMT. Nice job. throws hands up These are the same things that every company does to try and combat the situation, and it fails every time. Gaming companies that started off okay, say Aeria games back in the day, are now nothing but companies who cater to the whales and every thing they release is a reskin of the previous game. X-Legend hasn’t done anything new in years, at least that Aeria has picked up. They’re bleeding customers unless they reinvent the wheel, just slightly, every two years. Glad that repitition is what equates to success these days.

People who say wait and see? Wait and see for what…? The next gacha that’s a silver box? There’s a reason gambling is illegal in most countries, and this is gambling. Just enough RNG to make sure it’s fun, you get hooked, and shell out more cash for TP to get more boxes. Oh, but you can buy it on the market, so it’s ok.
I saw that bs comic someone posted on the forums yesterday, I think, about how the customers have made it like this. No. It’s complacency that has turned the industry into a catering company rather than a world of creativity and innovation. Yes, we do buy it, we buy into it–hoping that something will change or at least trying to keep up with the pack so we can indulge our habit.
But we’re not the only ones who lost our passion. Some companies can afford to take a calculated risk–look at FFXIV. They took a major loss, and rebuilt the game (in a lot of ways better, in some people’s eyes no so much). And there can be some argument about the choices made to scrap some of the true innovation from 1.0. But they still managed to change, without screwing over their clients. The result was the playerbase flooded and continues to build. It’s not going anywhere, anytime soon. It’s no the BEST game, nor the most innovative, but it’s a good, solid game with a good story. I had quit it to come devote time on my characters on ToS. Because I loved the world, and the atmosphere, and style of ToS.
Now I’m just disappointed.
Yeah, they need money. Yeah, it can be sold on the market, blah blah blah. The reason people are getting upset about this is because we have seen what this crap does to games time and time again.
Want people to buy more stuff that’s already in the cash shop? How about lowering those prices. Token sales really went up when players were no longer expected to shell out $20 for basic game features. Letting trade be something that even non token players could do was a good idea.
Battling RMT can’t happen behind a paywall.
IMC has made some good changes in the past, and I hope that they’re willing to find a middle ground between microtransactions and actually putting things in the TP shop that are worth our money that don’t ruin the game.
This game’s only six months old. There’s no excuse for the population to be dropping again. It held on for a while and even spiked back up a bit for r9. IMC really needs to take a look at the factors causing this and put work into it even if it means running at a loss for a while.
I know some people are excited about all of this, and the mobile game and I’m really glad that there are people who are going to enjoy this kind of ‘content.’ They have to have someone to pay the server gerbils. I’m not sure I’ll be one of them. I know how to turn enough profit that I can fund myself in game, and now it’s market for everything pretty much so… yay for that. Maybe next we can get a feature where you can buy your levels directly, and attributes. Cuz who needs to level?
Nevermind things like cosmetic effects, costumes at a reasonable price, skill/spell effects so you can be a special snowflake, mounts that don’t look like a wind up toy, weapon skins because apparently they have forgotten that people go gaga over 2-3$ seasonal crap like that, some physical merchandise or even digital. Who wouldn’t love to have a signed print from Maggi? Figurines? Wanna do gacha? Do gacha pets that are chibified versions of in game monsters–again, purely cosmetic but players enjoy it.
Make cards that are gacha and revamp the card game so that it is an actual game and not just random (again, final fantasy has an excellent example of this and some market research would help in this department).
I can go ON and ON.
But no, let’s charge 3.00 a pop to shove random crafting mats 88% of the time, rare mats and cosmetics 2% and another 10% of wtf were we thinking? haha. Whales, gotta love em. Amirite?

Well guys. Looks like im out. Its obvious IMC gave up and just wants to make the last bit of money they can off this game til they release wolf knights. Then they will do the same to that game.
Done with korean mmos. ESO will be my new home.

Wut even Gringe is leaving?
pat pat Just close your wallet and buy off market for cute stuff and watch it dwindle down some more and then we’ll see some changes. I don’t think IMC is evil, I think they’re just looking at things from a completely different perspective. Like the RMT stuff.
Let’s prevent trading unless you pay for it, because it’ll be too expensive for botters to do that with all their bots.
Solution: Let’s make the market have 2 day wait on sales and players can report suspicious looking listings.
Solution: we’ll open up trade to all players but bind items to characters that don’t have a token, but you still have to wait and pay taxes on things you sell.
There are 3 Cs to keeping consumers happy:
Consistency: stick to what you say you are going to do. We were told this game was not going to revolve around the cash shop, multiple times, and that it would be innovative yet nostalgic, beautiful, immersive and fresh. It is beautiful, and in some ways it is quite nostalgic with the action-ish combat. Anyway, Being consistent shows the consumer that you are worth being trusted with their money. We are investing not just in our lootbags but our characters, the game’s vision and direction as well. We’re supporting our artists (which is one of the reasons I put up with the overpriced costumes), the staff (Hi John! <3 still my fav), and even the top tier people with our wallets. Individually it’s nothing, but between all the players it adds up. Give us a reason, and we will spend. Gacha is not a reason, it’s a distraction.
Communication: The producer does not need to individually respond to every thread, nor does every thread merit the staff posting and responding. However, I don’t even want to get into the questions picked for Q&A. They’re just sad. However, taking one day out of the month to actually address the community and road map the next updates, what’s being worked on, and respond to player questions should be the rule and not the exception. It doesn’t have to be done live with a freakin translator. Set up a thread once a month for players to submit questions on. Then have someone respond. The on about the work on multithreading was a GREAT response.
Care: Care about the game more than the profit. Care about the players more than the profit. Care about the concerns and fears (however stupid they may seem) that repeatedly are expressed by the players. Care for how people on news and fan sites talk about the game. It’s not just a product. It’s a reflection of the people working on it. And it goes straight to the top.

It does me too, but I’m combative when I care. cracks whip
Another step towards p2w: disappointed, but not surprised.
Anyway who would want to win? If your talking about TBL well the price you play there is rank which can be diminished/rank down every week not to mention the point awards. Seriously? The point shop exchange is kinda you know some may agree or not,it sucks. But the whole point is that common guys the feeling of winning is nice… But what’s really the price?
Whaleknight sounds legit. Something like Taoist but you need to pay TP and not silver. 6TP for each skill.
Yea I said from the start if it goes p2w im out and here it is. It was already on the edge of being p2w and this pushed it over.
IMC is contender for the world champion of the category: Digging your own Grave.
I remember in the past I always post something with a good reason when I’m criticizing IMC but the whiteknight will shove me off, saying I’m too serious and I need to get a life since this is just a game. Have fun they said.
Then I proceed to being a hueknight and just make jokes on IMC retarded business decision yet I still get shove off by whiteknight for being a troll in the forum by making jokes.
Then I become the blind idiot like those whiteknights and support IMC blindly. Guess what? They told me to stop, saying it isn’t funny anymore.
What the ■■■■ do you idiots want then? ■■■■■■■ wanker.
You were fine being a hueknight. You seriously expected the whiteknights to overlook jokes on IMC? To them, the decisions are not retarded after all.
If you just want to spam without opposition, then Tree of Forums is the wrong game for you.
huehuehue
Angry, pathetic whiteknight…
20chars hue
you have to be retarded if you think that I’m a whiteknight, when IMC ■■■■■■ up things in the past I always stand against. I don’t agree with hue retarded army, that doesnt mean that I’m a whiteknight, I just dont agree with you guys, that’s all, and please, stop being egomaniac, this is not about you, it’s about IMC ■■■■■■■ things up again.
