So I have been grinding almost 4 hours a day for a week for some mithril ores, and I was lucky to get two. During my hunt I was accompanied by some bots, and I felt that its so damn unfair that I’m spending so much time grinding while they can do the same while being AFK.
And then I saw some players shouting like “Trading my 9 mithril ores”. I know it’s not my position to accuse, but come on, do you honestly think that he got his 9 fcking ores by grinding?
You can get 9 ores by farming. Not that the bots are fair, but you can. Depends on how much you dedicate or even if you have a pet/sorcerer and all you need to do is standing there drinking pots.
IMC is trying to hunt the bots, though.
brave yourself, dude. I am hunting Mithri Ore for days and still have zero of it. Damn, Sissel recipe needs up to 5 ores and I want to die now LoL

Just farm silver in District 2 Demon Prison. If you have enough AoE, You can be up 1m in 4 hrs and few mins.
Will my owl lvl 10 work there?
You need more faith in RNGesus. /jk
Try to observe the spawn rate and common spawn locations of the monster you’re hunting a drop for. That, and time your channel changing as well.

Yes, botting is indeed unfair but remember that such thing is illegal, they’ll get banned eventually.
I have only 2 mithril ores from grinding and I’m keeping them. Selling to the market for quick silver isn’t worth the investment because down the road, I’ll need them for higher end gears down the road. Like you, I’ve tried farming for some but it sucks~sigh.
AND DAMN BOTS WHEREVER I TRY TO FARM MATS…Q.Q…not enough banning. It’s pretty damn unfair when there are multiple bots and are running in all the channels, some even with the channel hopping programmed in.
I’m on the hunt for a Melinas staff and praying I’ll get the Audra staff recipe “somehow” in the future.
You gotta remember the thing about most bots is they don’t care that they will be banned and they only half arsed care about what they drop. The people behind them are mostly botting companies getting stuff together to real money trade. Once they do get banned, they usually have more waiting to replace them and are in the process of making more. The game doesn’t mean jack to them besides being an easy cash source.
Real players who bot usually aren’t too good and don’t have the resources to continuously make bots as a botting company would. There are of course exceptions, but it’s not nearly as rampant, and usually their main accounts can be linked to the bot accounts pretty easily, getting them banned.
Since you care, you play the game the way it was meant to be played, like 90% of us. Bots annoy everyone, trust me. I had someone showing me his grinding spots on SEA and each one was filled with a bot or two, the same bots that were on my server Klap, in the same exact gear. I’m really hoping IMC comes up with a way to combat them better when they reopen the servers for players, because the guy who showed me quit over it, me thinks.
Holy ■■■■, i guess i got really lucky then, got 1 by 2-3hours into it.
My friend got 4 M.ores in 1 hour, lucky bastad I know. The point here is you don’t know since when this guy has been farming, maybe he is lucky too, maybe he is using bots, maybe he was going to do some craft and then decided to re roll his class so he don’t need them any more.
Eh I spent 3hrs a day for the whole working week farming mith ores and got about 11. I sold 4 for 250k ea and kept the rest for the recipes I have at hand. Also farming the gnomes I used a cata c3, just twirl’d my spear all over the map. I also made additional 1.2m selling some rare item drops like the neck, short spears, and crafted a buncha tridents(70k ea). Overall I think it just takes a bit of luck and also make sure you press alt a lot, cuz I notice some of the mith ores that drop for me were covered or… glitched up and didn’t show itself on the floor unless I pressed alt.

There is a part of the game called grinding. It’s the part where you kill monsters repeatedly for them to drop the items needed to craft the equipment you desire (explained it just in case you dont know).
Now, I’m not sure with you, but most players don’t enjoy it. Well, it can be boring, but interesting grinding IF you are doing it with real people.
Imagine these players using bots can do the grinding part while watching movies etc. while you’re there controlling your character running around map by map for hours and days. If these scene is okay with you, maybe there’s something wrong with you.
