iToS should learn from ToSJP

After interacting with ToSJP players, its kind of sad how iToS team is very close-minded, conformist and dull when it comes to its community. iToS covers many regions around the world and yet its the most “empty” and boring one, while ToSJP is only Japan but its player base is highly active. ToSJP is very supportive to artists to the point they release comics of ToS NPCs (like Marnox chibi contents along other Demon Lords). They also hold screenshot events, outfits events and nice things like those. Even if they give small prices, its still a way to keep its community alive. And its community, mainly artists, are very active. There’s no day ToSJP artists don’t post fan arts.

I think iToS should take ToSJP as an example to improve and be more dynamic. Even if they’re different regions, its IMC. Its Tree of Savior. I suppose ToSJP has different departments, in which there’s one that focuses on social medias and community events, aside from endgame and others; whilst iToS solely focuses on game content. Perhaps if iToS would widen its team and make it equal with ToSJP, the game in general would be more welcoming for new players and even motivating for old players.

The only interactive/dynamic events iToS holds are Fan Art Festivals. Weapon Designs might have even been forgotten. Most of dynamics are held by fans, which is not even enough because they earn nothing out of them. Let’s face it, we all join Fan Art Festivals for the TP. And now with MAGGI’s departure from ToS, its another big turn off for players and artists.

I hope that iToS could improve and reach ToSJP’s potential. I’m sure iToS could be much better. It has the potential to be as great as them. But its about having the will to do it and plan things better.

how about ktos vs jtos? which one has better customer-developer relationship?

Haven’t gotten involved with kToS, since I know nothing about Korean. But can see they are also very active. I mean, the game is Korean. So yes. xd

Jtos player are the best
they once had jtos player event site any jtos player can signup and create their own event set a time period, event goal and event reward if there is any but most event is for fun purpose.

it is very funny to watched their event video on youtube back than.

It is to be expected from any game that has a cute loli fashion show as its endgame content.

Yeah, there was some great fanart back then.

wow, 37k player, not lagging?

It was ok. Seeing Klaipeda channels ALL RED was cool too.

IIRC this screenshot was taken during the server down and those were all players trying to get past their barracks.

Didn’t Japanese ToS close down late last year?

No, just switching publisher. Nexon was in charge but now the imc home office is.

you have to consider that it’s easier to manage a community with a common culture like JToS players. as compared to IToS players that has varying cultural differences owO

“iToS team is very close-minded”

“we all join Fan Art Festivals for the TP”

“MAGGI’s departure from ToS, its another big turn off for players and artists”

like how these statements may be true for you, but it’s not for others Owo
