Before I start I just want to extend a thank you to all members of Inertia, without every single one of you we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this. You all have helped out more than any of us could have possibly imagined, and your selflessness and dedication to the guild has not and will not go unnoticed. Each of you played an integral part, so all of you can boast you took part in the first ITOS clear of 40F. You are all irreplaceable members of the family we have built that is Inertia, again I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for helping us bring this clear to Orsha.

That being said, this post is to officially announce that Inertia of Orsha has been the first to clear Solmiki 40F for ITOS. The following is the composition that was used:

Sword1-High1-Barb3-Doppel3 (Soviethammer)

Wiz1-Pyro1-Linker2-Chrono3-Enchanter1 (Chi-Dragon)

Wiz3-Ele3-WL2 (Jinsilver)

Cleric2-Diev3-Priest1-PD2 (Whiskas)

Cleric2-Kriv3-Priest1-Miko-Taoist (Calindrea)

I’ll answer any questions regarding builds, positioning, and strategies as best as I can for those who are genuinely curious. In terms of specifics for each class you’ll have to either contact, or wait for that individual to respond (I’m the Taoist).

So now that we’ve cleared 40F, our focus will be shifting to the generic farming of the tower for gear, helping out some of our other members getting their runs off the ground and supporting them as best we can, and finally preparing for our next goal GVG.

We’re also recruiting! So if you‘re looking for a Guild that feels more like a family and is focused on making sure each of its members succeeds at whichever aspect of the game they enjoy most feel free to whisper any of the 5 members listed above and we can start the application process.

Also two final thank yous to @Veritas, and @Kazuto_ToS of Alpha. Veritas your handbook for the first 20 was invaluable to me when I took my first steps into the Tower, and for that I’ll forever be thankful. Once again thank you for the time and effort you put into it, and I wish you the best of luck in future endeavors inside and outside of ToS. Kazuto, one of the first friends I made in this game, always there to shoot the ■■■■ with me, theory craft builds at all hours of the night, listen to me vent about life, and just being a stand up dude overall, thank you man I love you fam.

ALSO HUGE SHOUT OUT TO MY WIFE FOR DEALING WITH MY BS THE LAST FEW MONTHS WHILE WE PREPARED!!!

Amazing… Congratulations! I really really want to start doing earth tower, but don’t really know anyone I can party with :/. Anyways, so I’m currently building a cleric – how do you think a cleric 2, kriv 3, druid 3 would do at earthtower, and what type of role would you say I can play?

Thats actually a really good question, and something we had slated for testing in future alt runs. My wife runs a similar build except she’s a dirby 3, lycanthropy is actually really nice because the abilities are actually a true AOE and she hits…extremely hard. I personally feel that the build path you are currently on will be more of a support based role, the nice thing is you can work in dps rotations in between melstis/auserine combos with your build using Sterea Trofh as a gap filler.

Thanks for the response! Yeah, I noticed lycanthropy’s strong point was that it has an unlimited amount of AoE. I’ll definitely try to take your advice into account once I start rolling through earthtower. How tedious is it to get the solmiki equips compared to the lolopanthers?

Can’t comment on that too much as we’re just going to start out farming this week but there still seems to be RNG with the 35F cubes. So you can either get Fragments or Essence, they also raised the essence cost of the solmiki gear a bit as well. So it looks like we might be praying to RNGESUS a bit to bless our rerolls.

Last question, which is probably a really newbie question, but what would you say is the minimum pdef/mdef (without buffs) necessary for earthtower?

Really nice guys! Congrats!

One question, well two. I have a pd with the same build as whiskas’ and since we already have another diev3 in the group, I can have a more offensive approach. How relevant was his AOE considering you had a meme and a doppel? And did you manage to fix the bug of vapors hitting the party?

I would say shoot for around 1500 base for each for solmiki and 900-ish for the first 20 floors of ET, from a support perspective that should keep you relatively “safe” when you are fully buffed.

I personally wasn’t even concerned about my dps, I made my Cleric with nothing but supporting my party in mind, and to do that I felt getting my defenses as high as possible was the best method. That being said as a cleric I would focus more on mdef/pdef head enchants and 10 star Nuale cards.

I can touch on a few points, I’ll ask Whiskas for more info when he’s on tonight. That being said his DPS was definitely required and played a large role in helping us meet DPS checks, also I can’t recall an instance where plague vapors caused us any issues. I’ll get back to you after I talk to him later though!
