Items too expensive But the old players No new players arriving.
I want to sell expensive items for real money?
As far as i know, items price tends to go lower in price if no new players are arriving.
Must be just my imagination.
And no, don’t rmt here
Prices lower everyday and most items became extremely cheap. You’re probably a new player, but trust us it’s very cheap.
It’s because IMC keeps banning bots and no bots are around to farm our precious battle bracelets anymore

Cheh! Players always tend to resort to RMT. Are you even in hurry earning a living for family?
Battle bracelet price changed because they changed the reset. It’s not because of population.
Spoilers: Everyone is so rich already that them selling things at insane rates doesn’t even matter. So the whole supply and demand effect here doesn’t apply especially when the economy is so inflated already. Less players only means the price will go up since nobody is going to flood the market with cheap ones to compete. Even then people prolly have gross amounts of silver to continue the inflation and monopolize it anyways.
I don’t know how this apply to tos. In my case, i just sell everything in market just abit above sell price to npc. Some need to be research price and bit lower than the min price in market.
Now i am able to sell everything in one day. Or maybe I haven’t get super rare stuff. But still, i will retain it for my future alts.
Is what I’m mainly talking about on topic with things that are not easy to get.
i think most pre order players like me, dont even use market that much now, i only sell stuff i get from rush or world bosses, because i need to enchant some items and skills, 3 280 characters 2 260+ and more 3 100+ leveling, i already have all archer items, all mage items, and even all sword items, and i dont even lvled a sword yet, theres really no point for me in trading because all the items i dont have are untradable drops or lolopanther stuff. and money, u dont even need world bosses to be rich if u r playing since pre order, im top 1 175 dg rush in my server, i made almost 200 million just selling aias and ignitions, my main fletcher right now is 343 Molich kills, my alts all above 200, i do it every single day with 5 alts… theres no point in trading for a lot of people right now.
Still not convinced. Most people only see the market is only consist of demand and supply. If the price got skyrocket even if demand is high, sooner or later price will come crashing down.
This can set an example in real life with property price. Here will be where the government (IMC in tos case) play an important role. The market flow cycle must not be stopped because it will kill the economy. This has be stated by IMC that they take this seriously till resorting a lot restriction measurements.
Doesn’t work like that from my experience. I’ve played FFXI for like 10 years on and off along with RO and prices only go down with more players flooding the market with stuff to drive everything down. IMC thinking they can monitor and regulate a market was the stupidest idea ever when they can’t even check their own support email box. The first week this game went “live” on early access RMT and bots pumped up the price of potion mats into an obscene price and they failed to do anything about it for months.
Shame this game doesn’t have a website like FFXI http://www.ffxiah.com/ where you can see the correlation to prices of a low population server to higher. It pretty much goes by if there’s more players bringing supply things will be harder to monopolize because people are naturally greedy selling as high as possible.
Things start cheap in a game’s life time then just only get more expensive as it goes, then everything inflates from people having more currency leading to extreme prices unless something is easy to obtain.
