Occasionally, killing a full-health mob will result in item drop that don’t belong to you, but a nearby player. This has been happening to both myself and my roommate. For clarification, no, we were not in parties during any occurrence of this bug.

This happens when some douche attacks everything in an area then leaves the area until the mobs return to their spawn points and then mobs regain their lost health making for the illusion of killing a full health mob and them stealing your items.
