Items become untradable despite both people having Token active

Bug Description :
(letting us know what you were doing before, during, and after the bug happened will help us a lot)

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Have two people with active tokens open trade window
  2. Put an item which is tradeable in the trade exchange window
  3. Have both trade parties confirm the deal, a window pops up “the item properties will not change, because both have token active”
  4. Confirm the deal -> Item is now untradeable

What was the item in question? Despite what trade windows will say, there are still some items that will become untradable even between token users.

Some etc items, like “Moyabu Horn”.

But this needs to be fixed, we shouldn’t have the UI outright lie to the player.

As I recall, ingredients are one of the things that will become untradable. I think potions will as well.

Were either players using the 7 day token?

I had the same problem. Both of us (me and my friend) have 30-day token and trade an artilonium that become untradable.

Read the Tips: Consumables and Mats always will become untradeable regardless of token user or not

To be honest, i wouldn’t mind that the UI is outright lieing to me, however at least the traded items should be account-tradeable via the account warehouse, because now some high DPK materials i helped gathering for a friend are on a character who can’t use them because the recipe he wants the items for is on another character and the recipe is also not tradeable via account warehouse.

TOSs items-changing-tradeability “feature” and untradeable-not-even-via-account-warehouse item restrictions are absolute garbage and frustrating…

That’s in direct contradiction to the “items won’t change properties since you both have tokens”-message from the popup window, though.

I have to agree with the trade restrictions on mats is totally garbage
