Item /Weapon Enhancement Failures

Bug Description :I was enhancing my weapon to +5. Bought the anvil, right-clicked to use it, and chose the weapon to enhance (which was my +4 bow). Immediately, a yellow lock sign appeared over my bow in inventory. I tried to click on the anvil to start the enhancement process. Nothing happened. My clicks were simply not registered. The anvil disappeared after a while.

I tried this process again and had made a video recording of it. The video is available upon request. (I tried attaching the file but this site says the avi format is not one of the ones that’s accepted).

Through and through I have wasted 40k+ silver, time, and went through a lot of agony because of this bug.

I’ve enhanced my other crossbow to +5 before and personally enhanced this +4 bow myself. I’m pretty sure I’m familiar with the enhancement procedure. Please look into this bug.

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this to our attention. Please try to submit a support ticket attaching the image or video via your email, or upload it to an image hosting site and provide us the link. The video or screenshot will be useful for investigating the issue you encountered.

Is the bow locked? I mean, did you lock the bow with the Locker button to prevent accidental selling? If yes, that is the problem, you have to unlock it and enhance, then you lock it again.

Also, check if the item have potential.

@GM_Sebastian You people have to stop with these copy and past replies, its getting old already. Do please first narrow down the problem them ask for a ticket.

No, I did not lock the bow. But thanks for alerting me to that. The enhancing potential of my bow is 5/5.
I did send in a support ticket last night but was unable to upload the video file getting the time-out error. Maybe TOS support put a limit on file size. Anyhow, I hope they do resolve this in a timely manner.

I think the site system don’t support that, upload on youtube or other place you feel like it and past the link into the ticket.
