So Item awakening has two random factors. First being which stat it gets (ie: phys atk, magic atk, crit, etc) and second being what stat it gets (ie: +20, +21, +42, etc)
While the latest is within a set range, there are large pool of stat type as possible outcome. And since there aren’t much potentials to play around with, is Item Awakening even viable as an upgrade? Especially with rare equipment.
IMO, better if we can use item (GEM perhaps) as sacrifices to reduce the outcome stat into a subset of stats (so a staff can avoid crit rate as outcome). While the bonus given would base on performance in the item world. This would make leveling the skill much more important.
