It would honestly be great, IMC

Retard quene after maintenance, forced to do siauliai with 3 people, had a surprisingly ez time though. Finished the dungeon faster than I would have with a 5 men party of 2 swordsmen 2 archer and 1 cleric. Never died once. Guess it just goes to show how some class are completely redundant and some class are just so amazing at doing pretty much everything else.

Time to roll a cleric.

Back to the subject, I once worked in game dev as a 3D artist and designer. I know how difficult it is to balance things, so I honestly don’t mind the state of the game. I also understand that its much harder to churn out contents with a small team, so I’m completely okay with the progress IMC has made so far. In fact, I’m pleased with how much content there is in between lvl 1 - 240 and how few bugs are detrimental to my overall experiences, so kudos.

That said…

Would it kill you to not break things every time after a maintenance?

I mean the purpose of having a maintenance is to fix things, to roll out patches, and of course things might get broken once in a while, new bug might appear in the process of applying new patches, but the frequency of this occuring is way too high. Can you please double check the essentials are at least working (search dungeon function, dungeon instance…etc) after every maintenance? That would honestly be fantastic.

Thanks.

2 min into the dungeon someone was yelling how he joined a party of 10 players in siauliai.

And the run before I dced after killing the first boss and can’t rejoin because apparently someone else joined and took my spot.

It’s not about fixing every bug you find. That’s impossible. It’s also not about making sure new bugs never appears. That too is impossible.

It’s about making sure the basics are at least working after the maintenance so the new bugs won’t be so glaring that everyone won’t notice or feel the burning urge to cry about it on the forum.

I’d consider it a big step forward if this happens.

I think these instance issues that always occur after a maintenance are not actually bugs in the code that keep getting re-added but rather a problem of the instance server. Maybe it’s unstable or doesn’t connect to the main server properly.

Maybe. I’m not too sure. I never worked on server/programming side of the process. More of a concept artist/ 3D modeler / Game designer gig for me. Still The sentiment stands. Really wish these issues can be checked, or recognized and resolved properly after every maintenance because it would save everyone a great deal of trouble. This is pretty much a Class B problem that’s getting the Class C treatment for absolutely no reason at all.

i don’t think there has been a single mait where a new major game breaking thing wasn’t created
