It has been confirmed you can't buy back sold items

I sent a support ticket since the NPC wouldn’t let me rebuy (tried both left clicking and right clicking the item on the bottom of the NPC merchant chat menu).

This is the response I got.

We’re sorry to say that there is no possible way to get back the items that has been sold at the NPC.

Be careful what you sell to the NPC’s, you cannot get it back as of now.

Sold Yonazolem Fragment by accident when lagging and couldnt buy it back. Now i cant make the best Dex armor I know of >.>

Yea, I thought the buy back issue was a bug for the longest time.

Wow this issue is gonna be a real pain
I hope they fix it soon cause I use that buyback feature too whenever I accidentally sold an item needed for crafting or may be needed for Collections right now.

there’s nothing to fix. it’s “working as intended.”

i’m not really sure why they felt the need to include (or keep, anyway) the “items sold” row… unless it’s simply to taunt you in case you do sell something important.

but it’s not like it’s that hard… just don’t click “sell” until all the items are loaded into the sell row, and you’ve double-checked those are the items you meant to sell.

Buy back was definitely possible back in cbt2, hence why the row exists.

There any kind of ETA on re-enabling this? Would love to buy back the 900k bow I just spent all my money on and accidentally sold due to not being equipped after opening sockets.

Gotta work on that UX guys… -_-

i accidentally sold my desert chupacabra gem on merchant cause of lag and i cant buy it back… damn -.- is there another way to get it back?

yes you can buy back on cbt2

nope, its gone for good. If you send in support ticket they will give you an automated response.

how is that relevant? CBT2 is over, and the system is currently working as intended - meaning you cannot buy back sold items.

yes actually that’s my problem as well i accidentally sold chupacabra monster gem cause of lag and i cant buy it back so sadly im gonna wait until buyback features is up

I don’t care about it too much if there is or there isn’t buyback… but still…

Anyone knows what is or what could have been the reason they didn’t include it in the game in the final version? (I played in icbts yeah…)

I believe it used to cause items with lost potentials gain the potentials back.

it came back after the last major patch. IMC is working on fixing it again.

This function was temporaly removed on the emergency patch 2 weeks ago. Also this thread is 10 months old o.o
