Will skills or weapon that has damage bonuses on Large type monster like Brandish Spear will add and definitely work on boss? Because according to tosbase.com most boss are XL type and large type monster are only this.
Any proof is much appreciated.

I would also like to know this as well.
I cannot confirm this, however, I can tell you that a spear that says 3x attack on large type monster also works on boss
But I reckon that is a case by case basis.
