Do I get ban, flag, or anything if I use the VPN service to play this game?
hey you know, you can search for a thread. and instead of making infinite number of the same question thread, what about looking if it has been answered before? that way we can reduce the amount of clutter in the forum. : >
I assume using a VPN to get around a region block is not allowed, but having said that, there is no way for IMC/Valve to know you are using a VPN to get around a region block.
There are many legitimate reasons to use a VPN (security/privacy, getting around local censorship/NSA-spying, etc.), so I doubt you will be banned, flagged, or anything for using a VPN.
