Is this true? What happened?

If you mean the hole in the middle of the chart, that’s the weekly maintenance

Looking at the overall player base, it’s still decent compared to what we had one year ago (2300 vs 1000). The problem is that the most important stat, which is “how long a player stays in the game in average”, is not displayed. I’m pretty sure that stat is now at its lowest. Number of players is constant, because right now there are a lot of new players that compensate the ones that leave the game, but new players tend to just try the game and leave after just connecting to the game once (I can’t tell you how many applications of “level 1 team level 1 char AJ rank none” I get every day for the guild that I don’t ever see connected the day after…). At the moment, the game only survives from its veterans and even them tend to leave the game now. Endgame is simply not meant for new players, it supposes you have played for years and accumulated enough resources to get the latest additions, so they will play for a while, enjoy the scenery, and then move to the next game that will offer the same thing.

To be honest I dont like to have too many players…

Server instability is the problem.

Somehow we can still find a party in CM. Still have guild raids… etc server still alive.

this game dont have enough content to maintain many long-term player.
Content is such repeatable, old-fashion and boring.

Now flag me.

IMC decided to time-gate content. So people do what they need to do and log out for the week.

Which, you’d think if they cared about concurrent users, they’d have thought about the ramifications of making singularity cost CM resets. All this did was grossly inflate the cost of any remaining resets, cause people to have no interest whatsoever in doing CMs, which was the one thing they could grind so many of, and cause people to knock out their daily singularity or two and log off for the day.
