Hey guys,
I know I’m going to get flamed for this so all hate is welcome
So I’ve been following this game for a couple of years and played the beta’s and early access but stopped due to reasons outside of the game. I’m thinking of playing again but judging by some of the forum posts it looks like things aren’t going to great? What are you thoughts? Is the game dieing? Does it still have active players, etc etc?
Looking forward to hearing what you all think.
Thanks
For me it is:
Right now the game is in its middle game for what is the overall process (500-600levels max only 280for now).
So there isn’t much dungeons etc, but in term of theorycrafting for me it is the best game i had in more than ten years. ^^
And people are mostly too major salty on game forums since years, talking bad about the games etc and maybe trying themselves to ruin them for their own fun who knows.
On the flip side, I have 7 alts and none over level 180. I am enjoying this game immensly.
Partying doesn’t work.
Has not worked for a month and a week now, so at the core it’s currently a shoddy korean ARPG for international players.
For me if you play 1-3 hours a day this game is awesome!! However if you play like a no life you would feel all of it’s downsides.
I would still recommed it, if you are really a fan of TOS.
There is a lot of bugs and things that needs to be fixed, but hey we are just starting. I’m positive that this game will see the end of the tunnel could be bad or good but who knows just keep sailing. We don’t know what will happen next.
welll, things have been going pretty slow. some game-breaking issues are still there (e.g. crashing channels) but it has definitely improved compared to cbt.
I’d say it’s “much more playable” compared to cbt. It’s fun until u hit annoyances here and there, and the impact is more powerful the more hardcore u play… If u play just for fun, it’s fun (except the grind wall)
Still for a f2p game, It’s up to you. If it costed money Id say no.
I would inform myself of the current issues (they are all over the forum), try the game, then decide.
I suggest wait till ktos repo merge and rank 8 info out tho.
The game is worth playing if you want to take your time with it. End-game is lackluster right now, but the way there is interesting enough.
I run my healer and fencer through 3 missions and 3 dungeons and call it a day. I usually give myself 3 hours tops, at least knock out the missions, dungeons are a bonus and log. No endgame, so no interest in grinding for 10 hours a day.
I still play in hopes the game will get better in the future. For now im just logging on to do my dailies. If token expires i don’t care. I may get another one or not. I don’t even want to grind. It sucks having to compete with other parties with low spawn and lack of channels. Sure i main a build that isn’t unwelcomed in parties. But even if you think your problem is solved once you’re in a party another problem appears. Once you bump into another party you start to feel demotivated and think “eww, i wonna log off”.This is the same feeling of heading to work after class and the bus or train is crowded on a rainy or snowy day, you don’t get a seat and the whole place feels like a rainforest and someone on the bus definitly didn’t wash their jeans for weeks. The only reason you stayed and grind with your group is because of your sense of obligation. Leaving the party early is troublesome especially if you’re the only ele healer or taunt.
