Is this game dead or something? what do i do

hello. new player here
Is this game dead? is this game supposed to be solo play?
im a level 68wizard/Clvl10 and there is absolutely nothing to do besides doing quests by yourself. The quests alone are very bad exp and it gets really repetetive and boring. I cant do more than 2 dungeon runs in a day, which you run with only one other person due to extremely long que time and being forced to que as two man. Ive read leveling guides and i cant even get to the grind spot without having to do every single yellow quest up to the point.

Am i doing something wrong here? and why the hell is there a 2x daily limit on this lv50 dungeon!!!?
i play mmo to play with others and i just dont see this game getting any better at this point.
im playing on NA-Klai btw… please let me know if this game gets any better down the line.

You didn’t miss much, there isn’t anything to do in this game besides leveling over and over.

well it isn’t solo play. most of the party activities are on higher lvls. considering your lvl, you have just finished 2 runs of the lvl 50 dg. If that’s your 1st char, it’s highly recommended to explore the maps and quests first since it will get you more acquainted with the game.

BUT if you really want to rush level, I’m afraid you will have to spend some real money to do that. Purchasing the TP token is one of those must haves [ which you can also do via market] cause it raises the daily dg limit to 3 runs, gives movement speed and exp bonus, not to mention lesser market tax and trade restrictions lifted.

I do hope you stick around the game longer, since the devs are cooking up r9 hopefully by end of 2017

Do this.

  • Do your quest.
  • Don’t horde your exp cards use them when you get them.
  • Do daily dungeons preferably with token benefits and exp items (fortune cookies, exp tome, goddess statue, etc)
  • Do Siaulai Missions as well. when you hit lv100 (this will skyrocket you to 120 in just 2-3runs)

Just do this and you’ll be 330 in a week… lv1-100 you can do in a day.

Sorry to say you probably won’t get very many party members for the earlier dungeons, if for any dungeon at all.
Most players either solo them, ignore them (out of impatience to wait), or megaphone for others during the higher hours of the day.

You get a maximum of 5 free TP you can use to buy megaphones, you can use to call for any potential others to queue up with you. (1 free TP charges every 4 hours iirc)

Lol just ignore that white knight.

Anyways if you came back from cbt and from early 2016 then yeah there is nothing to do in this game. It is a wise choice to stay away if you want.

Endgame is just

  • farming practo
  • farming mats for practo recipe
  • farming silver to max attributes
  • once you get practo orange weapon then upgrade it
  • if you are unlucky and you get +5 and 0 potential then
  • farm silver for diamond anvils
  • you also need to farm blessed shards and 1 character is not enough to do it
  • oh and you can farm for lolo set
  • lolo set takes over a year to complete

Don’t worry though. The true endgame is in the forums. Looking at arts and bait posts is one of the best features of tos forums. If you ask me if what is the best thing about the game itself? No comment. It is no different from doing 8+ hours of work and chores when you get home.

  • collect collection for fun!
  • find those hidden quest for fun (or extra stats …its not really hidden anymore tho, just go through the internet)
  • look at new update in ktos and wait for 2-3 months …and complains WHY ITS NOT OUT YET??? then quit …
  • then after 2-3 month come back, see nothing then quit again

This game simply lacks tryhard end game. The actual hardest things of the game can be easily beaten without trying really hard and once you acquire your best gear the game isn’t really rewarding. It’s fun discovering how skills work and all build diversity, but once you know it all…
