Is this a new tech from Bots/Gold Sellers?

Seems like the player can enter a special “blank” character as his/her team name making it hard/near impossible for a normal player to report/block the player.

For those who find it a hassle to click and watch the video.

I’ve blocked this bot a few hours back. It is still spamming when I logged back in. Can’t select the bot using conventional right clicks so I use the chat window.

At 33secs in the video you can see the select list when I right click the chat window. It shows “Unblock” (which literally means the user is blocked… but how come it is still spamming???). I even did an unblock and proceed to block and report the bot again but it doesn’t even work.

Can IMC look into it? Posted on general discussion for more awareness.

You can right click on the spam in the chat and report same way.

Well you can still right click their message in the chat window and block them that way.

Still I’m pretty sure botters and RMTers have found 99 ways to break this game and exploit it so they can continue to sell silver to WarRock.

Tried it with “Report and Block” but it doesn’t block them at all. Prior to making the video I’ve tried to blocking it numerous times but it is still spamming (showed in the video when i right click it it has the “unblock” option. When I report the bot the system shows " has been reported." The spamming is by the same character with the blank name.

It should, if it still spamming it may be another one close by.

I’ve gotten repeated whisper spam by these blank name bots, even after i have reported and blocked them.

I know it is the same bot because the whisper window is still using the same window for that blank name bot instead of opening a different window if it was a different bot.

Up. I’ve been trying to block that same spammer for a while now.

Unblock them, then block them again.

It may or may not work for you, but that works for me.

It’s ironic how Bots advance more than the game owners.
