Is there actual confirmation about the xp rates of this beta and release?

Just curious. Alot of people are saying the rates are double or triple of the iCBT1 rates. I actually hope they are since I love grinding and the current beta rates would probably have me at max level and done with the game within a month unless the xp slows down considerably at level 250+

Also find it hilarious that people complain about the xp now if it’s boosted for beta xD

I remember reading that the first English CBT is the actual exp rates and this one is 3x. I doubt it’ll be this easy since people are 160 within the first week.

I hear it some where before that Kcbt exp rate is increase by level.

Well, something like If you Lv1-15 you get x5 EXP, When you Lv16-something you get x10 exp rate.

I am also hear that around lv180 you get x50 exp rate =_="

for me the rates are fine (they could lower a bit, but not /2 or /3), if the max lvl is 600 u can still grind alot with this rate

We don’t have time to test class, exp rate in cbt should be raised, but only in CBT. Rates after should be like this, they’re fine for easy play

I like the rate as it is now. You still have to grind especially at 76 and 124+. It takes time and just because some hardcore players burst through this by playing 12 hours a day doesn’t mean that the average player should be punished with even lower rates.

The main thing people aren’t taking into consideration is that job level is seperate. If your jobs all max out at level 400 for example then who cares if it takes 1 or 2 years even for the last 200 levels when it’s just 200 stat points (which don’t mean too much compared to gear at that level).

I personally hope that the high end is practically unobtainable to the point that I never see a max level player.

They take consideration but many of us are used to it. Same system was in RO, first base lvl then job lvl.

Pretty sure iCBT1 was just IMC testing out various exp rate settings. That said, the exp rate in iCBT2 is a good deal higher than the first one we had (at least for the EXP cards). I no longer see the exp values from killing mobs over our head like we used to. :frowning:

I feel that the current rate feels quite good (based on being level 110 at the moment). I hear that it’s quite a bit of a wall at 160+. That said I don’t feel that I’m qualified to provide an accurate feedback in terms of leveling pace until I get higher level to see how this wall is like.

I feel a decent amount of people commenting on exp rates are probably people that have yet to hit 150+ at least (myself included but I admit that my feedback is not accurate until then).

They should make far more quests if the exp rates are 3x in this CBT2. If they dont make more quests we are going to grind a lot.

As of my current level, 110. There has been enough quests to mostly avoid straight out lengthy grinding. The “first” wall some people hit is the 80-86 range because there is a bit of a gap in levels needed to quest into the next set of maps (also the exp required per level is the highest it’ll be for some time).

Anyway, I managed to avoid the first grind wall probably due to me killing random mobs quite often and not just power questing through the area. I do expect that I will probably have to grind out a bit for the second wall (137). I will probably find out for myself later in the week.

This kind of reminds me of old 2005 maplestory where tiger(the highest level player) was 156 and I would always check the ranking, believe it or not he only gained a couple of levels per month. He got to 200 like a couple years later. I really wish it could be like that.

It may seem surprising but thats kind of what me and a bunch of guildies want. We miss the days of socializing in vent/mumble while smashing mobs. To us quests are boring as hell >.<

Yah I hit that wall on my first character but my next 3 didn’t because I did the repeatable quests, did the dungeons maximum times and also drank sp pots non-stop and used all my skills off cooldown to kill mobs on my way to anywhere.
