Is the TOS beta another hat draw?

Hi like the title says, i’m confused, on the TOS front page it says that there are no limitations as to how many people could join the beta however according to this website:

it says and i quote
“Our plan at the moment is to launch the 2nd CBT for Tree of Savior in October. The test will run longer this time, for approximately one month, and previous testers who have joined us in the 1st CBT will be able to join us again, along with 5,000 new testers.”

what should i believe? is there another 5,000 beta user limit?

That post was from Oct. 05 2015. A lot has changed since then. The key total is almost at 150k right now, and the key registration has closed. If you didn’t get a key, I am sorry. If you did, I’ll see you in-game.

Thank you Simbaoshi for the reply !!! that clears things up for me. I registered for the beta key yesterday :smiley: hopefully ill be getting the code in 3-5 days

Which source of information do you think is more trustworthy: the official web page of the game or a secondary source offering an overview of 1kk games?

Well of course i bellieve TOF website more, however i was wondering if i maybe misinterpreted what they said and that website further added to my belief that i misinterpreted what was on the main page:P
