Is the //ping command inconsistent when using VPNs?

I live in Vancouver British Columbia and playing in SEA Telsiai Server.

When I was using WTFast my //ping was around .200 and I can play with no delays.

My WTFast trial expired and I decided to use Mudfish. I configured my settings with the recommended nodes. I am getting around .300-.400 in my //ping command. However my gameplay has no delays.

Wondering if the //ping command is reliable?

Every VPN provider is different, some have good effects some have negative effects, you need to do a traceroute for both and work out which is better along the route to the server and work out which is better.

Also surprised your not playing on na, but a singapore server…

Well my friends are in PH so I’m in Telsiai

The ingame ping command seems all over the place to me and I don’t really follow it.

in wtfast it says I ping around 95-100 from Australia to SEA and it seems about right because I don’t feel much delay even if //ping shows 200+
