Ok I just finally got enough money to buy some gear for my lvl 26 swordsman and I go to the market and its now telling me every time i try to buy something you must be lvl 40 to use that what does this mean can i not use the market at all now until im level 40 does this count for all players is this a glitch I would like some info on this matter thank you.
This restriction has been applied in order to combat in-game botting
So that means the legit players get screwed because of the ones whom are to lazy to actually play lovely.
It’s more annoying because it’s tedious to transfer items between characters and you suffer from this restriction regardless of if you already have a level 40+ character. Any new character you make needs to be 40 too.
Token users can transfer like 1 item at a time. If you have another player help you with a transfer you’ll lose TWO potential on the item lol.
Response from IMC. You can blame bot users and poor execution from IMC. Here’s my advice: Get the Cafrisun set and Sacrament buff from Pardoners. You don’t really need to buy anything till 90, just use quest rewards and drops. At 90, you can farm the 90 dungeon and hope for an Arde dagger
Soooo How are lvl 15 people be able to buy carfrisun equips? Farm it? With all the bots in there?
15-40 is annoying without cafrisun. How bout weapons? Just fully depend on sacra???
Tard restrictions.
There are 3 collections that open up team storage space, 2 of them are fairly easy. each collection opens 2 slots.
Go party with people
Oh I didn’t know about that but that’s good to know.
Thats really good info thank you for that.
or you could do the 3 Team Storage collection quests, for +2 storage each. 7 Team Storage for some reasonably common items.
(apparently @Lostac already pointed this out…)
additionally, you can just -buy- extra TS slots, if you have lots of cash around.
oh my god. if you can’t make your way to lv 30 to farm the cafrisun yourself, just quit now and go back to mobile gaming.
you can get to level 30 without significant trouble on the -starter- gear.
if you stop in town and buy sacrament/blessing, it’s a trivial task.
Buy from your level 40+ character and transfer the equipment to your 15+ level alt.
What the… I didnt mean me. I can barely finish my 12 DG runs per day.
I meant new players. I couldnt give cafri set to my friend last week because of the 3 day rule, but he couldnt farm it either because All 6 channels Srautas Gorge are filled with archer bots!
Yes, to us making a new lvl 90 char is easy, we can just pass nice equips to our alts. But to new players, it’s daunting. They are starting from scratch. I notice they struggle a bit from 29-46.
In retrospect, life is actually easier when you get to 100. Just do daily DGs and missions.
To be honest and… it may just be me but I found this game to be extremely easy. I can grind to 70 in 1 day and that was my first day playing with my first char… The game follows the most cliche` and common MMORPG concepts that people should be familiar with by now.
Explore map
Quest
Exp cards
Grind a little when the exp per kill is nice
Dungeons when you hit 50
Your next destination too high for you? Well you can easily switch to the other city and start getting more exp cards / map explored there too.
I’m not going to call anyone an idiot though. I just really didn’t think anything about this game was anything “new” from just about every other game ever. It has been terribly easy for me.
When I was a new player leveling my cleric… there weren’t any pardoners available yet. I could only whack flying mobs with my 50+ odd damage auto-attack all the way until I got Dievdirby’s carve (C2>Diev2 until 127). Didn’t really find it daunting nor did I struggle to level, soloed most (95%+) of my way to 100+ without any cafrisun or pardoner’s sacrament/blessing. No arde until I buy 1 at level 170+. All items found or quest rewards.
The game wasn’t even a struggle pre-40s… there are so many things to do… just getting wings of vibora for Khaipedia on the very 1st map alone will put the player at around level 15+.
No pardoners, no cafri, life was not that easy for swordie with crap equip. Got stuck at 35 at panto archers. 1 hr of grinding, I almost puked. Thank god for betterquest. Not all of us love grinding yo.
Fastforward. I kinda promised my friend no grinding till lvl 160. Guess that was a mistake.
if you have time to tell that friend no grind until 160, you should have told him/her also to switch between town for questing.
I did. zzzzz… 20chars
then you didnt give him/her enough information
-quest between town
-talk to every npc you see outside town for side quest since there are other hidden side quest that are not shown if you dont use addons
-try to play in keyboard mode cuz sometimes other intractable object are hard to find in mouse mode
-remember to put con every now and then to survive longer
that kind of information.
if he/she still doesnt get higher by that then you have to spoonfeed him/her because he/she is a total noob and needs to be taught properly to make him/her be a proper player
Farming Cafrisun is really easy, even if there are the usual 20+ bots around. A normal player can react faster on the spawn and deal more damage. One of the four equips drops to 100% for the top 5 DPS. It almost never happened that I didn’t get one because a bot outdamaged me.
(IMC really should put a GM in that location, though. Don’t even need to use the Report Bot feature because there are always bots there lol.)
Honestly you can play the game with just quest gear easily until level 40, though. After that you can use market. Hardly any problem.
The only frustrating part is that I can now no longer sell level 15 equips on the market except they are needed for collection because nobody buys them now. Oh well, NPCs give almost as much as the market value anyway.
