Is the game worth playing again?

Hi, I’ve played this game since early access came out. Me and my close friend played it for a month or so reaching levels around 80+ with about 3 characters. Since the launch of the game, I’ve had trouble playing with my other group of friends since they cannot join the server I was in which was the server I played in when it was still at early access. I was frustrated, annoyed and lonely. I couldn’t help hearing them play on discord while I wasn’t there. But also, I didn’t want to redo the whole game, I was pissed. A week has passed and I had no choice but to create another account in their server (since there were no server transfers I believe so due to the game just being launched and that the dev was focused on the maintenance of the servers).

I stopped playing the game since my school year started (around August). Right now, my brother coming back home from work since he was working abroad, arrived. He’s a big fan of the Ragnarok series and he’s been asking me to find him a good MMO game to play.

Nonetheless, I want to ask you guys if this game is still worth playing again after all the reviews that I’ve read before with people not enjoying this game anymore and that they quit playing after giving it so much time to improve and what not.

(and also if there is a server transfer because I haven’t been here in a very long time)

You are going to get dividing answers here. Just like the steam reviews, it’s mixed. It’s obvious this game has some issues (even issues you dealt with when you played before are still present). But you can still have fun.

The only way you will know for sure, is by hopping into the game and trying yourself.

To be 100% honest, based off your previous experience; Im pretty sure you will just get frustrated/annoyed again. Id avoid till more bugs/r8 patch are smoothed out. But again I think if you really wanna know, they only way is to try it yourself.

I also think for your brother, this game will most likely disappoint. For most of the RO nostalgia crowd, Ive seen just mostly disappointment in their comments. As a gamer who never played RO, I didnt have any preconceived expectations for this game. So it probably benefits my outlook on things here. But I also have decades of experience in gaming, so my expectations are much different than most. So it’s why I say only by trying will you know for sure.

Right now, like NOW, my answer is NO, cus quests are broken in almost every map and that’s ■■■■■■■ annoying BUT the game is fun and you should try it. Also, rank 8 and lot of new (bugged) stuff. Server needs an emergency maintenance.

I highly recommend tree of savior to people who are masochistic and do not love themselves.

I’m 61 atm, with a new char and I haven’t done Crystal mine 1F… BECAUSE I CAN’T!

If you are a sane person, do not play this game. Today’s update turns the game into a paradise for masochists and whiteknights. You maybe know the forums are cancerous, but now the game is too.
